Christ was dead. He said so Himself:Christ was never dead tho , Jesus son of man lamb of the world born of the Anointing Christ Messiah.
Flesh son of man Jesus yes the Christ did the rise your using a title in the book .it's ok he live died as nd lives ever moreChrist was dead. He said so Himself:
Revelation 1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man.
He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last, and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades.
He had to rise from the dead to resurrect the dead.
Good point! There is another passage that comes to mind, when I've thought about the complexity of what is stated:Christ was dead. He said so Himself:

God has designed the whole creation to minister to a man in his flesh.Good point! There is another passage that comes to mind, when I've thought about the complexity of what is stated:
"But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glorification. None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." (1Cor 2:7-8, RSV)
On Rev 1:18 to which you refer, the Puritan Matthew Poole writes:
" I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore; the living God, who had life in myself, and gave life to the world, but assumed the human nature, and was made man, and in that nature died; but I rose again from the dead, and shall die no more, but ever live to make intercession for my people."
It does seem that Jesus Christ can be spoken of from either of our two perspectives of Him being God but also being man. The Baker's New Testament Commentary has a good passage on the verse you quote:
"Jesus personifies life and at the same time he can say, “I was dead.” He refers to his sacrificial death on Calvary's cross, where he conquered death for the sake of those held in the fear of death (Heb_2:14-15). He speaks of an historical event when his body was lying lifeless in the tomb outside the city of Jerusalem. The contrast is telling, for the one who is life permits his body to submit to death. What he restores is a physical body that suffered death so that it could never die again. Hence, he triumphantly exults in life and exclaims, “Look, I am alive forever and ever” (Deu_32:40; Dan_4:34; Dan_12:7; Rev_4:9-10; 10.6; Rev_15:7). His body, which John saw and described, is alive and glorified in appearance. In this last clause, Jesus first tells John to look closely at the physical appearance of the Lord; next, he stresses that there is no time limit to the Lord's life, for he lives eternally. His life is immortal, indestructible, and unchangeable. The incontrovertible truth of Christ's resurrection causes every believer to rejoice in his power to open the graves and raise the dead."
Jesus was first called Aramaic Messias immediately after Jesus’ baptism, John 1:41When did Jesus, become The Messiah?
