The Next promise is this :

God has promised to cleanse them from their Transgressions. God has cleansed His People by the Blood of the Lamb, all for whom He died has been declared righteous through Him, and His blood cleanseth us of all sin to the Glory of God.

Scriptures to confirm Heb 1:3

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Rev 1:5

So this Promise can be applied to the Church, the believers in Christ, the Israel of God, the spiritual seed of Abraham Gal 3:29

Next Promise : They shall dwell in the Land given unto Jacob forever !

Ezk 37:25

Also about this land we read in Heb 11:13-16

The Death of National Israel’s Separate Plan

This dispensationalism has seriously distorted the truth.

We are not Jews or Israelites outwardly and the place means nothing when Jesus comes because the whole world will know.

God has chosen the land of Canaan (Israel) as a meeting place for the finale. Some just dont grasp that. Glad you did Beekeeper.
The conclusion happens in This land, even the great white throne judgment. Of all the judgments of Israel they always were to return to where it all began. God has never forsaken this land its his and his to give to he wants.
This land never prospered under anothers rule all were destroyed or evicted in some way or another.
God has chosen this people to bring forth the savior of the world. He gave his word to this people. He gave the law to this people
It was not that they were special or more holy but because he chose them. Some have a problem with this for one reason or another.
But the way God looks at it is.....all have sinned and come short....judge not least you be judged.
None of us can earn the kingdom....not by blood or deed of our own only by his.
The Lord siad he will do it for his name sake.

On the matter of what was actually promised I think he has explained it as well as anybody could.
The conclusion there is a bit different to yours.

On the matter of who were the promises actually made to, I think that the key can be found in Galatians 3:16:
"Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ."
So if the promises were made to Jesus, what Biblical justification do we have to split the land promise off from Jesus-who is the king of Israel?
If we seek to understand this matter we must not stray from the updated teaching of the New Testament.
Many attempt to interpret the OT independently, and that can go almost anywhere with that.

You and I will soon be agreeing that we have been living in a global "Greater Israel" ever since Christ was risen.

God's chosen people are also those chosen by Jesus.
Colossians 2:9

It is a heavenly, not an earthly kingdom that we are instructed to seek.
Before the New Jerusalem comes down from above, heaven and earth and almost all that we now understand to be reality is destroyed.

• About 15–25% directly concerns Gentile nations, Gentile individuals, or the predominantly Gentile church.
• The remainder is universal material—creation, humanity, sin, salvation, wisdom, judgment, and the final state—though even much of this is communicated through Israel’s Scriptures and Israel’s Messiah.

Old Testament​

The Old Testament is perhaps 85–95% Israel-centred.


Genesis 1–11 concerns humanity generally, but from Genesis 12 onward the narrative narrows to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the twelve tribes, Israel’s covenant history, the monarchy, exile, and future restoration.


Even books involving Gentiles usually relate them to Israel:

• Egypt in Exodus
• Assyria and Babylon in the prophets
• Ruth entering Israel
• Jonah sent from Israel to Nineveh
• Daniel living among Gentile empires
• Obadiah, Nahum, and portions of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel judging Gentile nations

The nations are important, but most often they appear in relation to God’s dealings with Israel.

New Testament​

The New Testament is more mixed, but still profoundly Jewish in structure.


A reasonable estimate might be:

• Gospels and Acts: perhaps 65–80% focused directly on Jewish people, Israel, Jerusalem, Jewish institutions, or the Jewish Messiah.
• Epistles: much more Gentile-inclusive, especially Paul’s letters, though the theological framework remains Abrahamic, Davidic, prophetic, and Jewish.
