My dad set my and my friend since 3 down in the kitchen and told us about how blessed we are to have that friendship. We were about 15 at the time. He told us that if in life we find one true friend, we are rich.

My dad was a preacher and He spoke that way about Christ, and our relationship to Him, often. I know that is two but they both came to mind.

The word and in that verse a while back seemed to jump off the page or like one of those thorns that pricked the heart of Saul (wake -up) before he converted or it was part of the work of forming Christ in Paul's new heart.

My Dad would say don't get to comfortable with a girl unless you plan on getting married . Then you could become one.

We were in a small Pentecostal Church in the spring of '84 and we were praying before the services. Everyone was praising and speaking in tongues, and some were even singing in tongues. One by one everyone felt a presence and shut up. Finally, when the last one of us shut up, all was quiet. We just basked in the presence and nobody dared to look up. We all had our faces buried in the pew seats. A little later we all came around to normal again. Really edifying!
