I own a 1977 Type LT Camaro that I purchased as a used car. Back in the day, early 90's, I street raced.
I took out a brand new first engine model turbo charged Trans Am.
My BFF wanted to take the ride for the experience.

That's pretty much the most exciting thing that happened. Two cocky guys in a new temporary tagged TA, laughing at the line when they realized a female was already there in a Camaro.
Last I looked their smiles were gone ,the passenger, the drivers tag-along brother,craning his neck around his bro,staring at me with his mouth hanging open. I'd slowed down a bit so they could catch up. It's important to have hope ya know. Briefly. A lil bit of brief hope.

I noticed when I put disruptors on my ignore list,good threads slow down in post frequency.Long-time readers will tell you that we occasionally do run into trolls, unfortunately. I've had more than my share of spats over the years, but it's almost always because I like to keep certain parameters on my own threads, when I can.
My favorite troll story was of some guy years ago who accused me of calling both him and God racist in a thread... I can't even remember what the topic was (I'm sure I could find it, but it would take a while.) I wrote a post asking everyone in the thread to please flag my post(s) where I had said this, and report them to the mods. The response was that no one could find a post of me saying any of what he said I did.
I'm certainly NOT trying to say that I'm right all the time
This guy very loudly announced (I think in all capital letters, lol) that he was PUTTING ME ON IGNORE.
Ok.
And guess who was the very first person to show up in something like my next 3 threads?!
I fully endorse using the Ignore function when needed -- I know it's the only thing keeping some regulars here sane. But I've found it doesn't work well when you write threads. I like to keep the conversations going if I can, so trying to keep up a thread when you have half the people on Ignore is like trying to keep up with a group conversation while wearing earplugs.
What cracks me up is when people feel the need to BOLDLY DECLARE in writing that they're PUTTING SOMEONE ON IGNORE -- only to answer that person the very next time they post!!
I'm sorry, but I can't see how a 2-second Ignore really counts. If I REALLY want to Ignore someone, I just skip their posts -- and I happily encourage those who don't like my posts to put me on Ignore or skip over what I write as well.
The GREAT thing about writing threads is that every new thread is a clean slate! My response to trolling is to just keep writing threads.
And I've found that over time, trolls get tired and bored of trying to keep up, so they just seem to naturally fall away.
I've always said that the forum is like a maze -- writing threads opens up new wings of the maze that the trolls eventually get tired of chasing -- at least, here in Singles and Family. I'm guessing it wouldn't work in the Bible Discussion Forum, but I could be wrong.
And this is why I chose "OutWrite Trouble" as my forum title -- because when trouble comes, I just try my best to OutWrite it.

"Crazy" indeed. Stocking duplicates? If you stock the real thing, and also a cheaper version... That takes up valuable space where you could have put something different, like cheese filled pretzel bites or lemon biscotti or toffee chips or something.Go crazy,stock both. Road snacks.
