Must an elder also be a pulpit preacher?

Does scripture require an elder to preach from the pulpit?

1 Timothy 5:17 (ESV) says, “Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.” Here, the apostle Paul seems to differentiate types of elders. Thus my question.

No, but those who are put in the office should be able to give the truth from Gods Word at the least...
