Oh come on... this is the age of criticism. I can't believe nobody has criticized this thread yet. Let's see, how to criticize this, how to... got it!
Blain you should be ashamed of yourself posting a thread that encourages people to list what they hate. Don't we have enough negativitity in the world as it is?
Now that that's taken care of...
1. At the top of my list is people who actively look for things to criticize. Some people seem to be unable to be happy until they can find something to be unhappy about.
2. Farting in public has been mentioned a lot in this thread but it should be mentioned again. I can hold it until I get to the bathroom. Why can't they?
3. People who stand around talking on the workplace clock, while I'm busting my backside trying to get work done - usually having to move around them because they stand right in the middle of the aisle to hold their important conversations about the latest movie or ball game.
4. Video game programmers that make missions that are scripted to be lost, but it is not obvious that it has to be lost for the plot, so the player beats his head against a brick wall trying to beat it for a few hours.
5. People who train dogs to be mean. Some breeds of dogs are just big sweet babies naturally, but people deliberately make them mean for guard dog duty. My greatest wish is those dogs would bite those people on the leg. Not fatally, but bite hard. To make a nice dog into a mean dog is an abomination, a cruelty and the destruction of a beautiful thing.
1. At the top of my list of things I like about people, is those who like to fix things. Cars, computers, wood, whatever, they like to take something that doesn't work and make it better.
2. I like people who do stuff just because they know people will like it. Freeware programmers for example.
3. People who work at an animal shelter are wonderful people. Someday I might grow up to be like them.
4. Somebodies that act like nobodies. We have a lot of unimportant people who act like they're God's gift to the universe, but I know some people who are very important, who act like just your regular, average guy. If you talk to them you'd never guess they could, if they wanted, buy the building you're in, bulldoze it down and build whatever they wanted on a whim.
5. Social connectivity. I don't have this ability myself but my uncle does. I ask him where he goes for banking, dentist, car mechanic, etc. He knows who to trust. If I ever get married that's one thing I hope my wife has, because it's something I lack.
