In the State of Delaware there's a place known as Ironhill.
Delaware is pretty much flat,so many locals think at least there's a big hill in the northern part of the State.
When really, what they may not know is,that hill is actually a giant garage dump.
If you want to own a vintage car the reality is most of them will need fixing and a lot of maintainence and will consume all your time and fuel.

Also spare parts will be hard to come by, unless you can cannibalise other cars.

I think it's better to just own a car that goes, and is cheap to run, rather than 10 cars that look pretty and don't go anywhere.

Jay Leno has a ton of classic cars. They run like a top. Of course he's got the money to do that.

Vintage is slightly different/older than classic

I know because my brother is in a car club.
But yea it takes a lot of money to own a ton of cars. Money most people don't have unless they are in the 1%. I don't know Jay Leno, but he must be rich.

Elvis famously was very rich (he came from a poor background) and as soon as he got rich he spent his money on buying a house for his mum, and buying cars for his friends, who didn't have any. He didn't spend a lot of money on himself, mostly gave it away to his friends. He was a giving person.

One of his hobbies was horses and he got really into them for a while, and horses are probably more expensive to own than cars. He was able to do so because he was rich, but mostly he did it so he could ride horses with his friends.

A lot of girls go crazy over horses and long to own one but you can't own them or keep them in the city/suburbs. You need to have a fair bit of land.

True. Horses are very expensive to keep.

When we go to farmers markets I'll visit with the Amish buggy horses. That's my horse fix for the day. I love horses.

Was at our local zoo many years ago for a charity walk. There was a LONG line of people waiting to get up close and personal with the giraffes. There was a raised deck and all I saw at the head of the line was a woman hand feeding one of them. I wanted to get in line until I noticed the woman practically getting a bath from the giraffe's LONG tongue.

So, I walk over just to watch the others in the huge pen and I hear behind me "Daddy, I need your credit card." The man next to me looks at me, dead eyed while reaching for his back pocket and says, "This is the most expensive lettuce I'm ever gonna buy."
