I was talking to you. But not anymore
I'm sorry, I have no tack.
What do you think of the scripture I shared?
I was talking to you. But not anymore
Tact.I'm sorry, I have no tack.
What do you think of the scripture I shared?
That's false.I LOVE that the power rests solely with a loving God, who gives every sinner including you and me
the opportunity to repent and be saved.
They had earlier asked,what good are we if we're not trying to reach the lost?You don't make sense to me.
No it would not. Nowhere does Scripture say that faith makes a person into their own savior.
That view is due to your denominational brainwashing.
I LOVE that the power rests solely with a loving God, who gives every sinner including you and me

God causes a person to believe in Christ by gifting them by Grace, He gives them to believe on Christ on His behalf Phil 1:29
29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
So that's the Apostles teaching
I think that @Magenta's post was more than clear to reveal/document his lie about my belief.
If the power rests solely with God as you said, then what a person does or does not do should have no bearing whatsoever on whether or not they become saved.
Tact.
You're welcome. I'm not interested in going round and round. I already hopped off the Ouch merry-go-round.Thank you for correcting me, I'm not the best at spelling lol.
what do you think of the scripture I shared?
It is HIS word.
If the power rests solely with God as you said, then what a person does or does not do should have no bearing whatsoever on whether or not they become saved. If, however, it is dependent upon the person, as you said in your prior post ("regarding how Christ saves which requires the sinner’s repentance or faith or cooperation. God initiates; sinners cooperate or not "), then it doesn't rest solely with a loving God, in fact, it doesn't rest with God at all - it rests solely upon a person's willingness to cooperate or not, which places their salvation squarely into their hands, not God's. Yet, as scripture states, Christ is the Savior, and it is He alone who saves, which He accomplishes perfectly and in its completeness.
@GWH
No it would not. Nowhere does Scripture say that faith makes a person into their own savior.
It does if it is what the Lord has required of them. He is the One who calls on us to believe. It does not mean it in any way causes salvation because it is God's word that causes salvation. He said believe in His Son. God honours His word when we do as He said.
If God doesn't not make your will free in salvation, then it is not free at all and you make Him a liar.
Actually man wasn't free to sin or not, God decreed he would freely sin, he therefore had no other choice but to freely sin.It sounds as though you want the power, but God solely planned from the beginning to create humans, not robots,
who were free to sin and did so, but God also planned a way for Him to justly forgive those who repent and
become one with Christ via non-meritorious faith. Nowhere does Scripture say that salvation rests "solely' with God.
On the contrary cooperation with God is always required, and cooperation is impossible without the operation.
This is the man of sin speech! Jonah 2:9Nowhere does Scripture say that salvation rests "solely' with God.
On the contrary cooperation with God is always required, and cooperation is impossible without the operation.

Then please explain to us just what God has done for the non-elect?
