Still in a bit of pain, quite a bit at times. Will schedule a doctor appointment for next week. Fortunately, I will be off from work the entire week. Maybe I will get a little bit better. God willing of course.
That is what my wife said too. Pain relief is one thing, addressing the root cause is another thing altogether. I will definitely rest up. My last day of work is Sunday, then I will take an entire week off. I hope that it is not too serious either. I see the doctor on Wednesday morning. Thank you for your concern. I sincerely appreciate it.Rest up.
Maybe you just been on your feet too much. As get older, joints can rub through wear and tear. IDK am not a doctor but if he/she can explain to you what's causing the problem then you can find the appropriate treatment. (Rather than just pain relief) I really hope its nothing too serious.
Please keep us posted.I see the doctor on Wednesday morning.
I certainly will do that my friend. Please keep us posted.
Tremendous pain since Aug 1 in my left leg. Trying to get effective treatment for it.
Went to the local ER on Aug 2. They refused to give me a small quantity of pain meds but did give me a single Tylenol. What a joke. Took a bunch of x-rays for my left leg, twisting it all over the place. Screaming my head off because of the pain that they caused on top of the pain that I already had.
Going to see my primary care doctor this morning for additional guidance on how to treat my leg. Hopefully get a small amount of pain meds.
No strength left. Pain. The screams have subsided a bit though. It's not so bad if you think about it. Of course, I have found that it is best to not over-think things.
I miss my friends on CC.
Oh my goodness. I think I need some Jim Beam to get my wording straight. LOL.I use Jim Beam for any type of pain. Psychological or psychological. Works for a bit…but my general advice would be to go see a doctor about it.
My primary care physician is now in charge of my treatment. So far, so good. That Jim Beam idea has merit, but I quit drinking in 1992. I was mostly a gin and tonic kind of guy.I use Jim Beam for any type of pain. Psychological or psychological. Works for a bit…but my general advice would be to go see a doctor about it.
I must be ignorant becasue both words, if they are indeed words, look the same to me.Oh my goodness. I think I need some Jim Beam to get my wording straight. LOL.
Of course, what I meant to say was “psychological and physiological”.
D*** be those ******* mistakes.![]()
My doctor prescribed a modest amount of oxycodone. I am also now on a prednisone for inflammation, and I drink 8 ounces of pomegranate juice a day along with turmeric. All doctors and nurses give tylenol or paracetomol because they aren't allowed to give out anything stronger right off the bat.
Pain meds are restricted where I live you had to specifically ask for them and get clearance by doctor otherwise people abused them by taking them all at once.
The big ones I remembered for my mum were codeine, tramadol, and when they wore off and didn't work, morphine (caused constipation) and oxycodone. It was the oxy that provided the best relief, but needed to be administered every couple of hours before it wore off, it was fast acting but also sustained.
I am sad to hear so much suffering, if it helps put on some rage music and scream. It's ok to do that or cry. Don't feel you need to bottle it up inside. The spirit is groaning and well, I think that's because it wants to be a new creation. Romans 8:22
It is getting better. It's probably around 55% of what it was a month ago. I hope to work again within September. God bless you for your concern.Hello Tourist. I hope your leg continues to feel better and heal...
