People think I'm weird because I love (such an inadequate word!) God the Father as I learn to know Him in the OT.

I love all the information about the OT world that the dead sea scrolls unearthed, and think God kept us from finding them until so much time went by that we lost knowledge of that time in our world.

I love the rain because God feeds our plants with it, it tells me God loves and cares for me.

I love the ocean because it is so powerful it reminds me of the power of God.

I don't spend a minute of my life not being thankful that God gave a way I can cleanse myself in Christ's blood and live on. I'm so old it won't be long, now.
 
im weird, and happy to be, because i like to go into shops and try hats on, it makes me warm and fuzzy inside to try on a lovely hat, or glasses but not that offten. hats are my thing. i used to wear a hat in bed to sleep untill the age of 12.
my pic is a shop hat that i put bk im sorry to say.
i like to eat kitkats, bite the ends off and drink my tea though it.
and i know people call me a weirdo coz i like to walk in the country side. like for miles, till i find a pub.

i think thats it that a choose to remember :D

haha!!! That's really specific! *wonders what possibly could have small forest animals ever done to Liamson* God help us all if Liamson doesn't live near a forest. Too funny. Made me snicker in Starbucks :)
 
I love custard with a deep, abiding passion. I try to renew my acquaintance with it at least once a day.

well that's assuming he could catch the small forest animals...LOL! It's not like they will just offer themselves up for choking. :p

Umm, I didn't realize people thought I was weird.

Haha! Very true! Also, Liamson would have to figure out what constitutes a small forest animal. For example, it couldn't be a squirrel because they are also found in the city. And clarify if it is a small animal that lives in a forest, or if its an animal that lives in a small forest.
 
  • watching movies alone.
  • listening to Saturday morning talk radio.
  • The Wiz (the movie), The Nutcracker (the music and the ballet. all year long.)
  • math and finance
  • any seafood, as long as it doesn't come out of a can. (squid, octopus, conch, everything)
  • not talking about, or dwelling on my feelings/emotions...I'd rather put my energy into going places and doing things
 
Oh man, Hellooo, my brother was talking about the time he was in a foreign marketplace and ate live octopus...

Do you think you'd be up for that? I have to admit, I'm not even sure I could watch someone do it!! (I'm NOT saying you're weird at all :)... I'm just interested in people's unique preferences.)

I'm also thinking we're going to have to conduct a poll/study/thread to find out the exact line between "small, medium, or large" forest animals for Liamson... (Is a raccoon considered borderline small or medium...)
 
Live, like not dead and still squirming around? I honestly don't know, I don't want to cause more suffering.
I suppose tentacles do grow back..:D
 
Okay. I am messed up for this, but i would probably try it at least once, if it was tentacle. Just not the head.

I haven't read the entire thread, but Austen is VERY well known for creating timeless characters, plotlines, and themes we still use today. Name a current RomCom, and I'll tell you which Austen story it is.
 
Let's see... People thinking I'm weird isn't a foreign concept to me. So I'm just gonna list stuff.



I make up random songs throughout the day and sing them to various objects, people, animals, whatever.

I RARELY abbreviate in a text message. It annoys me.

I will drink iced coffee or tea in winter.

I check the Amazon ebook website every night for free books.

I like medical stuff. Blood, infectious diseases, etc. I think it's fascinating.

I use retro slang. It's the bees knees.

I often style my hair or do my make up in a retro way... but I'm not rockabilly.

And stuff and things. (If anyone can tell me the reference I just made with "stuff and things", I will mail you homemade cookies. I promise I will.)
 
spam....ewww grosssss... that's not even foood! but I like it too... and cheeto's :o
 
Honestly, I really thought I was probably a little weird.
But after reading all these posts... I feel much better about myself!
