A Christian seeks Holy Spirit guidance, who will guide in ALL truth. Reliance on "debates" between alleged believers is a very carnal suggestion.
:unsure::(:confused::coffee:
So why are you on CC?

I am not here to debate, even though it seems to go that way, but Paul did state, come let us reason together.

I will leave it up to you to find out.
I would be very happy to talk to him about his interpretation of Biblical prophecy. I don't think this needs to be public, but would not shy away from that as long as I knew going in what the key questions or interpretations we were discussing.

There is nothing wrong with discussing Biblical doctrine and interpretation. If we both agree and subscribe to the items of the faith in Ephesians 4 we can certainly discuss non essential items like our understanding of eschatology.
Well something we agree on.

What is dangerous is reading the newspaper and looking for fulfillment of prophecy.

What is also dangerous is having God, post the crucifixion and resurrection in a constant state of agitation with humanity and lashing out through the use of lightening rods! :rolleyes:

And then those who are believers sitting on their high perch of "saved" which is totally of God not by their works, condemning the world, when Jesus clearly stated He did not come to condemn the world.

"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
If He didn't want us to know the times, He would not have shown us what to watch for, and scripture clearly says we are to "watch therefore and wait"
:):unsure::coffee: best wishes

To do what we are all required to do, proclaim His truth and seek first His kingdom, of course, why are you here?
best wishes

You seem to be a labeler, assigning categories and labels to His created beings, He does not do this, He knows each of us individually and personally and seeks vital one on one relationship as Jesus modeled for us, He only did what He saw the Father do, He only said what He heard the Father say.

Thank you for the kind words, you can label me as a labeler, quite Ironic.
Ciao.

I can't. I am not on Facebook and Youtube has cancelled my account. Without that access I cannot get his email. If you share his email by PM I will seek him out. You can get his email if you have not been blocked by Youtube.

Plenty of people in the USA who do not ascribe to "Newspaper Prophecy."
I would love for you to debate Don Preston and all those who correctly understand scripture and prophecy.

It would surely be entertaining.
I am listening to him and apparently he believes the language in the prophecies is metaphorical. I fully agree with that. However, he also says that they are not literal, I fully disagree with that. So if we were to debate / discuss we would come in with a lot of agreement. He bases his interpretation on the Bible, that is the only precondition I would have. I would concede that the prophecies are metaphorical, so the only issue would be are they also literal. I say yes, he says no.

Instead of a useless discussion where we each pick and choose our prophecies, simply pick a few directly related to eschatology.

If I had his email I would send him my writing up that I call "A Newspaper Prophet" and see if he would be interested in discussing that.

Easter was on Sunday, April 20, the pope died on Monday, April 21. Wasn't really struck dead but rather died on natural causes.
I didn't write that title, I would have used the term "called home" rather than "struck dead". However, I thought it was very useful since he was able to point out five references to the Pope blaspheming the Lord.

Bear in mind, not literal does not mean not real.
If by "not literal" he means "not not metaphorical" then it is meaningless to add that as a qualification after already saying they are metaphorical.

My point is John said there are many Antichrists. I can say that Hitler was an Antichrist and Caesar Nero was an antichrist without meaning that they are "the antichrist" and also without meaning that there will not be "the Antichrist" in the future.

I view prophecy as "fractals". I agree that Matthew 24 was talking about 70 AD, but that 70 AD was also similar to a fractal describing the coming Armageddon. Ecclesiastes says that which has been is that which shall be and there is nothing new under the sun. That is a good description of my viewpoint which is often summarized as "pattern is prophecy".
