I swear, it's like every week something is wrong with me. Am I a hypochondriac? I don't think so. Anyways...my upper right leg is killing me. If y'all can pray for it to be healed, I'd appreciate it.

Going to call my primary care doctor tomorrow and set up an appointment to see what is going on with it.

My right leg has been bothering me for about a month.

Drinking pomegranate juice and taking turmeric to help reduce inflammation. My doctor appointment is tomorrow. Maybe get a cortisone shot if so advised.

Mostly pain in my hip and thigh. Bad stuff. Work is hard enough without having to work with pain. Fortunately, I am taking a whole week off from work to rest and strengthen the leg.

I will pray for your right leg. I pray for my right leg each morning.

I wrote about this in my Pain Management thread.

Because of the psych meds I take, I drank pomegranate recently and it made me have palpitations where I felt my blood shooting through my veins and arteries. I looked this up; apparently grapefruit juice would kill me and pomegranate juice has some sort of effect where I should not drink it.

I think turmeric, ginger and curcumin would be great for inflammation for sure. Which reminds me that I have those supplements in the kitchen.

I pray your hip and leg gets better

praying for your leg bro. Also you can try some gentle stretching and massage it with your hand. my back has been acting up, but when I remember to stretch it out daily it does feel better.

...and @tourist,

A Food and Drink Journal usually helps. Add to that a column for Stress and BMs/day.

When I start a Consultation, we begin with a Discovery Session.
The journal helps the client see clues that help get to the root of the problem. That way, solutions and corrections can occur instead of chasing symptoms with chemicals. There are a number of anti-inflammatories that I could list, but you already said it, the meds complicate matters. So good that you are doing that homework and being careful.

One thing that shouldn't have any contraindications is Dead Sea Salt from the Dead Sea. It's low cost and helps with massaging as well as bath soaks. It's high in minerals that can knock down tension. Deep massage and repeat frequently.
I keep a small jar next to my bed to use before sleep and if I awake with restless legs.
Then I know that I need a good form of magnesium and perhaps other electrolytes supplemented internally too.

May you have a good night rest men.

I keep forgetting magnesium. Going to take that now.

Magnesium's atomic number is 12. I'm certain there's a significance in that; a tree of life on either side of the river (of life) bearing 12 kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month (12 months), and its leaves are for the healing of the nations (Rev 22:2).

I have a bottle of topical transdermal magnesium oil on my nightstand for cases of emergency applications to leg cramps. And I apply it directly to any aches or pains. A little goes a long way.

I wish they had the informative reaction... and cool scripture mention.

Just took two high-absorption magnesium tablets for now.

That's the good kind for topical.
It's part of the complex in the Dead Sea Salt. I've used that magnesium oil MgCl for many years and recommended it to hundreds.

I actually feel a little better but not 100 percent. I’m back to square one with the pain being in my upper right leg/hip area.

Yesterday, the pain was going throughout my leg, down to my ankle and foot
I'm not going to diagnose, but will take a stab at a possibility.

Have you ever been to a chiro or MD and told you have Sciatica?
The nerve is huge and starts at the base of the spine.
It passes through a hole in your pelvic girdle, down the back of the leg and to the foot.
There can be multiple causes.
It can become impinged or inflamed.
It can also become compressed from the piriformis muscle if it becomes tight and/or inflamed.
Then it presses the nerve up against the bone and be very painful. It would feel like it is in the hip and often travels down the calf.

Good news is that there are solutions.

I’ve had sciatica in my left leg but never my right. Might be sciatica.

I’ve had sciatica in my left leg but never my right. Might be sciatica.

I heard a hunter today tell about his back getting sore. He went to a surgeon and left with three discs fused. Who's to confirm if that was the right move or not, other than that man who doesn't get paid unless he cuts something.

If my car was missing, I might want to check plug wires before I let the mechanic tell me that I have to replace the engine, if you know what I mean.

I wish that Hunter got in touch with someone else first who may be able to help before going to have major back surgery. I've had my own set of back problems but God's grace was sufficient as He helped me far beyond the experts and thousands of dollars for useless treatments.

Praying for you

Believe me I know. My right leg has been in much pain I think it was the 2 days of rain . It started then. I usually know when it's going to rain before the channels do. Hoping for a quick relieve from pain.

Same here. Doctor gave me a couple of cortisone shots and prescribed a muscle relaxer. Leg feels better but some pain still lingers. She said that I might have sciatica. Going to see her again in a month to check my progress. Your problem with the right leg sounds identical to what I have been going through. I pray for improvement for the both of us.
