@tourist,
A Food and Drink Journal usually helps. Add to that a column for Stress and BMs/day.
When I start a Consultation, we begin with a Discovery Session.
The journal helps the client see clues that help get to the root of the problem. That way, solutions and corrections can occur instead of chasing symptoms with chemicals. There are a number of anti-inflammatories that I could list, but you already said it, the meds complicate matters. So good that you are doing that homework and being careful.
One thing that shouldn't have any contraindications is Dead Sea Salt from the Dead Sea. It's low cost and helps with massaging as well as bath soaks. It's high in minerals that can knock down tension. Deep massage and repeat frequently.
I keep a small jar next to my bed to use before sleep and if I awake with restless legs.
Then I know that I need a good form of magnesium and perhaps other electrolytes supplemented internally too.
May you have a good night rest men.
