quality you most look for in your other half?

I was wondering what quality/qualities people here at christian chat look for most when seeking their other half,for me I've said it time and time again and am serious,it doesn't matter to me what race or culture the woman would be,my outstanding quality I look for in a woman is that "SHE" would have a soul that desires to do right for God and be unafraid to stand for God,though it would be nice if she had a great sense of humor too,because laughter to me is better than any medication and can be contagious in a good way!
 
That she's attractive to me and has a similar sense of humor/personality.
A love for ice cream and a tolerance for sports helps too.

The most important one for me would be that he has a relationship with Christ and knows that the Lord is the way, the truth and the light. If he knows the Bible well enough to mentor me, even better!

A sense of humor would be nice too. I am naturally very shy and awkward socially, I think someone who is friendly and funny would be a good match for me.

But not right now. I just broke up with someone and I think I want to spend some time alone. Maybe a few years. I'm not in a hurry. :P

Exclusivity. The old song, "I Only Have Eyes for You" kind of sums it up. Without exclusivity, I would not feel safe.

Christian
Charismatic
Conservative
Chaste

doesn't matter to me what race...the woman would be My gf is black and I'm white. What we bring from our backgrounds rarely collides.

doesn't matter to me what culture...the woman would be This would be more of a concern to me. Cultural differences can be far more significant and would, I'd think, more easily collide and cause tension.
 
very well thought out answers everyone,yes even the looks post because hey each to their own and nothing wrong with setting the bar high in different ways because as the bible puts it that when you find that special someone and marry,"you are as one" so it's best to really think things through before you make a serious commitment whether big or small because once you've chosen you are permanently bound to them because jesus said"what God hath joined together none can divide" so once married you are joined together as one and though you might divorce you'll still always be joined so naturally it's wise to think and keep one's wits about them because that ultimate choice of matrimony though people may act otherwise is not to be taken lightly,but in the mean time search your heart and don't rush in to a relationship til you are sure that you really do have feelings for someone and not some simple crush,been through that plenty and it goes nowhere,at least for me it has,well I'll check back in to see who else posts the quality/qualities they look for most in finding their other half,should be interesting!

For me, I can't answer this thread because I have not met her. When I meet her I'll let you know what her most important quality is.
 
Aside from being christian, openness and honesty. No relationship lasts if you don't talk with eachother. And I am no mind reader so I prefer people to be direct with me.

I want someone who is smart who isn't cocky about it and makes me feel dumb by his intelligence, sense of humor is important to me, because it helps make rough patches in life as well as spending time together more fun, sweet and understanding, I fit inside of his arms when he holds me and my hands fit in his, he has a stronger relationship in Christ than I do because he will be head of the home/family and he's gotta be a good kisser ;)

I am thankful God led me to a guy who has every quality listed here :o
