Question about birds!

Here in Singapore, we have...

- Sparrows.
- Pigeons.
- Sparrows.
- Pigeons.
- More sparrows.
- More pigeons.
- Even more sparrows.
- Even more pigeons.
- Sparrows everywhere.
- Pigeons everywhere.

...Did I mention that sparrows and pigeons are common here in Singapore?

This reminds me of a song we sung at school! Do you remember it?

There are hundreds of sparrows, thousands, millions,
They're two a penny, far too many there must be;
There are hundreds and thousands, millions of sparrows,
But God knows every one and God knows me.

I wanted to mention the eagles. There was the Center for Philippine Raptors nearby, but they have moved the birds to the Dept. of Natural Resources some yrs ago.

I really enjoy having birds visit the garden and since we have had a few inches of snow, I've made sure there's food and water out there for them. So far I've seen some blackbirds, sparrows, bluetits and a robin. What kind of wildlife is around where you are right now? Hope you are all doing well.

There are some crazy girls who live next door.

But I never feed or water them... I don't want them hanging around.

Hello BriJane Where I live we have lots of crows, sea gulls, sparrows, robins, starlings, eagles, hawks, owls, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, orioles, ducks, geese, swans, grebes, pigeons, swifts, sandpipers, larks, heron, chickadees, and finches There may be more...

Three times in September while I was sitting at my window, a hummingbird flew right up to me. The first time it freaked me out, cuz I heard the whirring of the wings and saw what looked like a really big bug fly up to me to check me out I thought it was going to fly right in through my window, but it hovered for a few seconds in front of me, determining that I was not a brightly colored flower, and then flitted away Then it happened twice again!

I never went to a religious school, so I don't know what you're talking about... :/

Yes! It is fantastic. I used to always arrive at my construction jobs before daylight. And, I would do this in an open field. Occasionally the owls would swoop down at me, and I could actually feel the wind from their wings. It gives you goose bumps.

Yes, I like that! When I was a kid I discovered that casting a small fishing lure straight up draws bats down to about 6 to 7 feet. You can see them flit down near the tip of the rod. Of course, I've never been afraid of flying bats. (It's the ones you find on the ground in daylight that could well have rabies.)

Around here...we have lots of WILDlife! We have a Linx, a Blue Lady Bug, a WillieT, a Cyclops, even a Dino, and many, many rare breeds!
