Australians are also feeling the pinch. If you can live in the city with a decent apartment, it might be doable. In NZ all most all the apartments are leaky/rotten. The new town houses/stuck together aren't much better, (and overheated in summer) plus you would still need a car because only students would live in the city apartments.

There's things being rough and then there's people like Scooter who actively make things harder and blames everyone but themselves.

He's no real believer in the First Amendment, if he did then he wouldn't have called me an enemy of the state for criticizing it.
I thought that was the point.

He's no different from the Communists.

And I probably lost some of his made up social credit score because I dared to say anything.

Am I going to get sent to a concentration camp?

I find it ironic because while there is thought police in Communist nations, the US had the HUAC and witchhunts and thats pretty much the same... just on the other side of the coin.

I think your concerns are valid esp if you a native born us citizen. Immgrants and expats who left their lives and families behind for a better life also have a hard time. It only helps if you are already a billionaire.

Especially scary trying to cross any street in Orlando, Florida. At least 5 lanes each way plus turning lanes. Hazardous for sure.

I spent a few years in a re-education camp. It was called the Armed Forces of the United States. My 1st Sgt. said "You have to get with the program son."

are you a born again Christian? that's where to start if you are not. millions have gone thru & are currently going thru your suffering. i know well when the suffering has reached its maximum point. the breakdown point, that's where the devil wants you! James 4:6 & 7- "but He giveth more grace, wherefore He says, "God resisteth the proud but giveth grace to the humble", "submit yourselves to God, resist the devil & he will flee from you"! Jesus feels your pain & He's open 24 hours a day to assist. he has all the answers. Hebrews 13:5- "let your conversation be without covetousness, be ye content with such things as you have, for he saith, i will never leave thee nor forsake thee"! i know just about anyone can post what you should do but we all here on CC are with you & hope for a solution soon. you may find it strange but even with my wife & i popular around here we have few friends because so many people are not on God's side. they want to stay out late & party. when we were drinking alcohol & socializing around, everyone was our friend. they aren't true friends who you can call for help. & to find a quality teaching preaching pastor around here, forget it!!! i will pray for you. blessings to you.

100% natural she.

We had a guy like you here a few years ago...

He worked in law enforcement, so it was interesting to ask him about a lot of things involving scams, etc. At heart, I think he was a good person.

But he loved his job because he loved confronting people.

His favorite thing on the forum was doing everything he could to pull others into a confrontation. He really was a very intelligent guy, like you, but he would say the most outlandish and childish things to get someone to react.

What he hated most was when he wasn't getting the kind of attention he wanted from his most extreme statements, so he always upped the ante until something worked.

Eventually he did get some attention -- from the mods.

He didn't last long, but it was fun while it lasted.

Does anyone else remember Tommy, too?

I hope he's doing ok.
