I would agree grace is indivisible. All of the grace needed for us to acquire our salvation was earned by Christ's work of faith.according to His labor of love.And therefore not of ourselves in any way shape or form .
It reminds me of the division of sin that the Catholic must make because they say Christ did not finish what he came to do And rather gave a unknown remnant of grace and not the full amount needed to give us eternal life. They call that doctrine of men; "venial and mortal". So that they can continual to work to gain salvation according to their flesh,(not work out the grace he has freely given)with no cost on our behalf ... for another unknown amount of time and severity of a work of suffering.
The gift must match the wage which is eternal never to come to new spirit life forever more.
It would seem some follow the wrong kind of hype of the fleshly kind.
Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Lauren - You are accusing people of lying. Sincere people do not lie. So you should be more careful.
BenFTW was expounding on future sins forgiven, and the consequences of that belief.
Unfortunately though you may not accept it, it creates a different view of faith and our walk in Christ
in practice.
Now in our explorations with different believers they believed in hyper-legalism, taking the concept
of sin and making it impossible to not continually break.
Now all these faith positions are held or refuted by different believers.
It is not more complex than this.
For instance if I say I can walk in righteousness and purity, someone will say that is only
true because I define sin wrongly as happened this morning, lol.

Sincere people, having a sincere discussion, concerning sincere matters of Scripture, whose opinions differ one from another, are not often accepted with sincere Christian love and humility. There is a long History of that on CC, and pretty much any other Site in existence that I am aware of.

What exactly do you mean? Do you mean we are not to judge at all, or that just we won't make the final judgement on someone? If you are saying we as Christians are not to ever judge anything in any way then I strongly disagree, first off if you didn't ever judge at all you would be forever frozen in your own house crippled by an inability to do anything because of lack of the ability to choose, second what are we to do with John 7:24 where Jesus Himself tells us to "[FONT="]Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment"?[/FONT]
Don't you wish we could just have conversation and grow by each others thoughts on Him and His Word?
I learn a lot just by the way the Holy Spirit guides our conversation and gives each of us a gift to share with each other.
I get very weary sometimes by how we run around being nasty to each other. We wouldn't even allow our OWN children to speak the way we speak to each other, with such arrogance and ungraciousness.
I have learned so MUCH by what He has given to each of us to share!

I would agree we are not judge one another but we must evaluate. If a person claims to be a Christian we have a respeonsibillty to try and commune as if they are .Christ does all the convicting and makes the adjustments .He will sort out the lambs form the goats in the end of the matter.
Only God can see into a persons heart as they in the silent mediation make their request known.

it's not God who does not forgive; it is people who do not understand their obligation in the Lord to forgive as they have been forgiven
if you have repented...changed your mind...confessed your sins, whatever you want to call it, God is faithful and just and He forgives you
you don't have to grovel and you don't have to pour ashes on your head and you especially do not have to condemn everyone else if they say what I just said and you think that somehow your fleshy acts are holy in the sight of God...they are not
in most cases, they are most likely insulting
can you improve on the sinless Son of God dying for the sin of the world?

Incapable of doing that which God set out to do. Granting us forgiveness, taking our sins away and justifying us before God. Jesus being able as our High Priest to save us completely. All of this is tossed aside for a concept of repentance that deals with sin confession as if it maintains salvation. That is where people should truly repent. Change your mind about sin confession for forgiveness because it misses the mark that is Christ Jesus on that cross paying for your sins. You are forgiven, it is not something you seek. It is found in Christ.
