You know my friend...there's a proverb that says ...everything is old ...nothing is new....nothing under the sun.
My pastor yrs ago taught that if someone came to you with a new idea on Gods word how to look at it and interpret it take it with a grain of salt. Disregard it if need be, but never except it as a better way to know Gods word.
What I see here as a watchman as we are told to be and do in the middle east is oppressed people being freed from bondage.

My question is about Elam in Jeremiah 49:35-49.
If this prophesy is being fulfilled in modern Iran now, we will soon see the following things:
1. Iran will disappear as a nation, spreading refugees over the world. No Iranians will go back (V.36).
2. After the leadership of Iran is destroyed, a Christian power will replace them (v.38).
3. At a future time the Iranian refugees will be brought back to Iran (v.39).
It is good to keep a record if we have present day expectations of prophesy.
Depending on whether these 3 things come to pass or not,
either you or I will need to seriously change the way we look at prophesy.
None of us are exempt from mental illness.
I have had it and probably still do.
When it comes to God's ways with prophesy He has told us a bit about that already:

When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
I think this verse also applies to the interpretation of prophesy.
Perhaps I speculate about prophesies more than I should.

I've watched the protest and celebrations ( mostly celebrations) of the recent events that took place over the weekend.
Not only in the middle east, but in places like united states, canada, throughout Europe, and many other places.
These are from all generations old to young but mostly ones that fled the country because of the regime that exist.
I'd say that's a scattering wouldn't you.
I'd say that for those that have been hoodwinked and support the evil regime will either be killed or flee never to return.
Not only by this liberation assault but also by other countries they fired on to impose there beliefs and rule.
Modern day Iran is mostly feared in the region but very disliked.
I believe that the united states and others involved will have to go through a vetting process as we have failed in other agreements and commitments
To secure the objective of liberation by alliance and military might for those who may want to return to there country.
Christianity will become part of the norm all over the region and yes also in Iran.
As far as a new name....who knows maybe New Iran or Trump ran (kidding) perhaps iran is the new name which means noble in English as it was formally Persia which means in Hebrew land of division...land of horses.
