My point is that if we had trouble dealing with Vietnam, Iran could be 5x harder to deal with the IRGC. They do have allies with both China and Russia, and unlike Vietnam these countries need the oil from Iran so their relationship is very strategic.

Maybe. But as you can see, all China and Russia did is offer a few feeble whimpers.

They COULD have lit the fires of war and started sending in actual assets to thwart Israel and US military.
But they chose not to. This ALONE is a huge win for Trump.

Wow! I remember the pride and arrogance of George Bush and LBJ. Not about to claim "mission accomplished" until it is very clear that this is over and right now that is not at all the case.

Moosh Taba does want to do it, make no mistake, even though he is regarded as the stupid son (for ZNP's Godfather analogies he would be Fredo among Ali Khamenei's sons), he is one of the ayatollahs too, a key figure in the cult even before this. Mindful too they premise their islamic republic as being the legitimate successor to the shah, but how Khamenei plotted and now the cult attempts to create their own dynasty reveals the deeper truth of their lies. Moosh Taba's illegitimate reign will be short and the legitimate dynasty will return with the legitimate son the legitimate Crown Prince to become the legitimate Shah and to abdicate the monarchy legitimately and therefore provide the new Free Iran a strong spiritual foundation of legitimacy to both rebuild and even prosper. The plotline is the spiritual duality between the illegitimate son usurper versus the legitimate son the Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi. May the righteous tread the wicked to ashes as per the prophecy of Malachi 4, praise Jesus.
