So, as every other day of the week, you're here, repeating yourself ad nauseam on your threads that never end, WORKING at your endless bicker and Judaizing, exactly as you do the other six unholy days of the week. This is how you keep the sabbath special, keep it holy? All Israel would either scorn or laugh you out of the room.

Why are you kicking against the goads? The Sabbath will never change it's part of creation itself. It was created very good and everything good is from God. In time everyone who claims the name of the LORD will eventually come to the truth either in this life or in the millennial kingdom. It would be nice to have you join the people of God now.

It would be nice to have you join the people of God now.

LOL! At least you know how to amuse. But I'll learn at your feet some other time, such as the eventuality of having to live in some alternate universe of error.

Now I must repeat some truth.
Jesus Christ walked His earth as a Jew.

Jesus Christ, though He is the Word, also taught from Torah.

Jesus Christ taught us of the faith of Abraham.

Jesus Christ teaches He had another flock (the Gentiles) that He was going to bring together to be with His original flock (Israel and the Jews.)

Jesus Christ is the Gate of the enemies (Gentiles) of the Jews. They possessed the Gate of their enemies which tells me they are inside the Gate. They being inside, and we being allowed entrance via that Gate (Jesus Christ) makes us a people with the rest of God's people.

Jesus Christ was crucified for all who repent of the creation, the creature that is, and turn to the Creator. He was called at that moment, "King of the Jews." He is my King, and I pray He is your King also.

Whether you accept any of this at all or not, we are to love all with no exceptions, and from my decades of prayerful reading of the Word, we should love the Children of Isrel above all people after our family in Jesus Christ.

All practicing Jews, where your sabbath comes from, Judaism. Duh! Maybe learn a little about keeping the sabbath holy, from the real sabbath keepers?

Amen Scuba, the Sabbath As YHVH says in scripture was made to be a covenant sign between Him and us, it's like the wedding ring to the His bride. When truly keeping Sabbath the way He gives it to us, is quite rewarding and fulfilling in the Ruach. It creates great joy in my heart to call His Sabbath a delight! For it truly is just that.

Shabbat Shalom

Again, why are you Jew-lite sabbath keepers here online on the sabbath, since writing is strictly prohibited on the sabbath, and most certainly the threads that never end on CC are very optional, prohibited work.
Only Pharisees would come up with such prohibitions.

Only Pharisees would come up with such prohibitions.

Wonderful! We have a point of recognition. Out of the mouths of babes? Yes, only a Pharisee would come up with the legalism you are, actually, advocating in a perverted, watered down form of some sort you aren't even clear on how your sabbath is kept. You're here on your CC threads, working them, just like the other "unholy" six days. Yes, Pharisees were expert at merit by law, sabbath keeping, straining at gnats, experts at hypocrisy, also, which is not of walking in the light of Christ and His merit, nor obedience to the gospel of Christ to advocate your personal, weird law bondages to others,

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Galatians 5:13-14 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Again,

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Galatians 2:4-5 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: to whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Galatians 4:9-11 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Lastly,

Matthew 7:3-5 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

One point: no one is advocating anything approaching being legalistic. I do advocate obeying the Father when His commandments are in line with the Example Who is Jesus Christ, for they are One.

Disobedience is lawless, and no one who loves Jesus Christ wants to be lawless.

Wonderful! We have a point of recognition.
No, we don't. You came up with all sorts of false accusations like below:
Yes, only a Pharisee would come up with the legalism you are, actually, advocating in a perverted, watered down form of some sort you aren't even clear on how your sabbath is kept. You're here on your CC threads, working them, just like the other "unholy" six days. Just like Christ in His time on earth.

And that's including "remember the sabbath."

Galatians 5:13-14 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Why would it be a problem for others to use the liberty to remember the sabbath if one understands this verse? Who starts attacking the sabbath keepers on this thread?

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
The same Word of God gave the 4th commandments through Moses. If one believes in Jesus Christ, why wouldn't He believe what He said through Moses?

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Again 1 John 5:1-4 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

Again,

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Why would one has problem for others to remember the sabbath if one truly understands this verse?

Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
So why would one judge others in respect of the sabbath days? Does this thread remotely look like sabbath keepers judging the non-keepers or is it the Holy Spirit working on hardened hearts?

Galatians 2:4-5 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: to whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
Does one have to disobey the commandments to show his liberty in Christ or does one obeys the commandments to show his liberty in Christ?

Galatians 4:9-11 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
Paul said relying on the law is useless but did he ever say obeying the law is useless?

One has to see what my post was responding to.

seems like a spirit of strife and contention as we would see it . Study the sabbath , not what you been taught do away with man taught doctrine , study scripture deeply more than what you have go to the creation and see what God ministers in your heart , as God reveals the true form of what He is teaching us not lawlessness and commandment breaking but a true for the truth .

It should have been a thread encouraging each other how to appreciate and remember the sabbath now that Jews and gentile believers are one..........

Sorry, I have no idea what your point is or what you just said. And I always love it when people resort to arguing against clear New Testament scripture teaching with their own thinking, by their own words. People who want to argue against things clear in scripture, would you please argue your trying to Judaize others with God, as I simply posted the proof of your error, by His word? You don't like it, take it up with Him?

It is never wrong to repeat truth from the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Some need be reminded that the Bible is one book comprised of many, yet it is one book.

All of the Prophets and Moses spoke and taught Jesus Christ, though because of the veil of Moses, many did not understand.

All of the New Testament witnesses to the Old Testament that all of what the Prophets and Moses wrote of Jesus Christ is fulfilled in Him. He fulfilling all written of Him does not in any manner make the Old Testament invalid, it establishes the entire written Word of God.

Many here, those who read all of the Word, understand that living in grace because of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ does not translate as forgetting God's instructions to His children in favor of being lawless, for being lawless is of the enemy, Satan, and it is sin. Underscoring that it is sin, we look to what sin actually is, and that is breaking God' commandments.,

Anyone not understanding that it is good to obey the Father in love has no regard for the Father's will and is lawless, pure and simple.

I cant believe how this thread ended up, I mean it began as a praise thread then turned into a war thread lol. I guess the sabbath is a really touchy subject, I will have to remember that so I dont end up making one. Besides this is the fith or sixth one in two days I dont think we need another do we?

In direct response to your question. As long as people need to hear the truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which includes teaching on obeying the commandments, it is worthy of repitition. There is great reward for any who snatch one from the jaws of damnation in favor of salvation in the Way of Jesus Christ. If this includes a lot of repitition on matters known by believers about what Jesus Christ teaches, it will be repeated by all who are serving Him. The truth is worthy of repitition when it deals with the eternity of all.

SABBATH ATTACK! YOU WILL HONOR IT!!!

Have mercy! I did not jot that tittle, but did strain that gnat, honest as walkin' on eggshells every Saturday is long! It's like Donny and Marie, "I'm a little bit Christian." "And I'm a little bit Jew." We need a new denomination, the Ambigutherans. Oh! I forgot. There's already Catholicism. Never mind.

Another week, another Sabbath debate.

Thanks for the reminder.

Every week I start this thread to be a blessing and an encouragement to others, and every week people come in and hijack it.

And then from time time, I get sucked into the debate too.

That being said, I'm going to bow out of this one.

Catch you all in one of the other numerous Sabbath threads out there.
