Boy, am I thankful for this day, and thankful for everything God has given me this week (both tests and blessings)! But I'm also thankful for this Sabbath that He has set apart from all other days as a reminder of the rest He gives us.

May we all walk in peace and rest on this joyous day!

this whole chapter fills me with joy, for brevity just posted the 1 verse.

The bible says to labor to enter into His rest. Since you feel the need to post a new thread EVERY WEEK and you claim at least by lip service that Sunday church goers are not under condemnation, then I figure you must post how happy you are to enter into His rest EVERY week

Flame Im asking you nicely to back off or I will report you, I can put up with you when its directed towards me but you are to leave innocent ppl alone. So im saying for the last time back off

No trouble. Just saying God has as many Sabbath rests as does threads about the Sabbath, EVERY week. Hopefully when the true Sabbath starts, he will be just as enthusiastic! I've never read in the bible that God's Sabbath is followed 6 more working days. I want rest from burdens not a perceived pause from it.

In other words, paying your bills on Sunday because it's Saturday is not rest at all. Paying rent at 85 after going to hundreds of Sabbath church services is not rest. Just customs and shadows. I look for real relief, and therefore labor into it by learning how to free my people from such vain living.

Report me. I don't ridicule anyone. I simply express what I believe. I'm sure I can find a post or two of yours directed at me that's not nice at all. KohenMatt and I have spoken before about this, and as with this thread, we respect each other's opinions. The only one getting testy is you. Relax! Some of us can debate without name calling and acting like children like I've received here by most on numerous occasions.

well what you believe to be relief is your deal but im just saying dont go causing trouble here and dont even think about bringing up your money agenda either.

But I also would like to praise God for a wonderful sabbath as Im sure it will be, Kohenmatt I find your weekly threads encouraging ty:)

Okay first off I am not going to derail this thread so I will explain to you then we take our differences elsewhere start a thread if you must idc. Firstly you do ridicule ppl, you also make false accusations about them and you let your anger get the best of you.

And I admit ppl should not have mocked you or called you names and I sohuld have stood up for you if i saw which i rarely did as I was to busy debating with you. But you are far from innocent in all this and you and I will not argue on this thread, its a praise thread for God not a debate thread so if you reply in a debating or arguing state dont expect a reply

I don't have to. I will soon take message and exploits to those this information will benefit as most here I learned love their lives. I admit I do get frustrated but I learn patience through you all if nothing else. My message and warning is sure to pass and you too will learn what our true enemy is!

Please just show me one! Just one in which I have ridiculed anyone being the initiator.

If you'd like you can start a thread. The only thing I may do is return fire, but again among many things I am learning patience. It's a hard life indeed to have knowledge that can truly save the world, to know its source comes from God and not men and to see those very people you're trying to save not only reject it, but to ridicule you and taunt you because you speak the truth. I don't have anyone to follow, to walk by my side, or to push me forward but the Spirit that teaches me.

I want nothing more but to leave this evil world, but I have a job to do first. Because any place that think it's more Godly to go to a building on any day of the week, than to feed the many that are starving and homeless is not a place for me!

I'm sorry but I love all, and I know when it is all said and done, all will be saved. I just want to live like I believe that's all.

Flame, I'm sorry you find it bothersome that someone would bless God and bless their brothers and sisters on a regular basis.

I'd venture to say this who forum would be better off if more people created more threads doing just that.

Nothing wrong with blessing people today. Only that you should bless them tomorrow as well.

Threads remembering the sabbath are not nearly as many as those speaking against it. If one hates sabbath that much on earth, would he possibly like the ones in new heaven and new earth? What kind of spirit does one have who would speak against the day which the Son is the Lord of to find relief?

When scripture tells us about the Sabbath, that is not scripture telling us about blessing people.

If people object to even a simple thing like honoring a day God gave a special blessing to, how do you suppose people will respond in the last days when we will be asked to give up our lives here on earth for Christ! To hear these posters, there is no way they are going to honor a day God blessed for them---simply too much trouble, yet It doesn't hold a candle to the request to be able to give up our life for the Lord.

Is the meaning of having a great weekend to not remember His sabbath and do what the world does? Is the meaning of having a great life to not obey His commandments and do what the world does?
