I am seeking out others who do not celebrate the worlds festivals - at all - especially xmas - for fellowship and study. I dig deep into definition and true meanings and cannot/will not tolerate liars and false teachers. I use a Strong's concordance and an Interlinear when I need clarification. cant really read it anymore its so small! thank God for books online! I attend a church out of Tennessee, but I dont live out there -
I am not religious. people want to chit chat about all these mundane things but no one wants to actually study and help each other. I want to study and level up. seeking out others who want to level up, too.

You falsely claimed that God explicitly says not to have xmas, meaning Christmas.
Christmas did not even exist at the time Scriptures were finished being written.
Does that make you a false teacher in your estimation? Probably not.
Hypocrites love to make exceptions for themselves.
 
Hi Str8G8, welcome to CC! I don't know if you celebrate Passover or not, but Jesus did:


17 Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”

18 And He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.” ’ ”

19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.

20 When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve. 21 Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.”


That is in spite of the fact that most people who observe Passover are not/were not celebrating the sacrifice of the spotless Lamb of God, Jesus the Messiah, who causes eternal death to "pass over" us if we accept His sacrifice. So really, holidays are about heart attitude and what you, personally, are celebrating or observing. ;)

Too bad the user got banned. I was going to talk about the recent leveling up I have been doing in Fallout 4. I got health regen going, put a lot of points into safe cracking and lock picking and I boosted rifle damage by a lot. :geek:

so hateful straight out of the gate like that before here.

I like how you went outside of the box there. Jake, are you paying attention. It's okay to color outside the lines and mix colors. Maybe that's part of the problem Jake. You probably had the box of 64 crayons with the built-in sharpener. We had to mix colors to have more than 8. And I think I still have crayon filings between my teeth from sharpening crayons.

My take...you could have let that cause you to quit. Instead, you improvised, adapted, and overcame. A platform of discouragement you turned into a platform for success.
