I sprayed and sprayed a spider once...until it was pure foamy white....and it still wouldn't die...it just slithered along the kitchen floor for about 10 minutes lol

missy-- hm the best way to kill a spider is to like, say it were on carpet ...you get a 50 paged magazine lol and drag it against the rough surface :]

I think you've got a good attitude about finding a spouse. I know for me for the past few years my theory has been that I want someone to share my life with, not someone to complete me. I think when people look to someone to complete them, they won't find it. Only God can fill that emptiness.
Opinions about killing spiders? (I can do that with my bare hands, thank you

Well, I for one am very discouraged. I've seen everyone around me have their prayers answered for someone... INCLUDING my 91-year-old Grandpa whome I visited tonight... who has a 65-year-old girlfriend (yeah, I know some of you guys are probably cheering...) I have gone to visit him almost every week since my Grandma died two years ago...
I have a friend at work who slammed me a few years ago because I was concerned about her relationship... then she called me in the middle of the night to come get her when he'd gone too far... now she has a different boyfriend (a good guy this time) and they're getting married this fall.
Same thing with another friend... the list goes on and on.
Do any of you ladies (or gentlemen) feel like God uses you to help everyone around you but always overlooks you? And people give me the nice, Christian answers... and it all just seems like a bunch of gobbly-gook. AND, it's usually the MARRIED people who feel they can so generously dole out this advice to me.

That is the biggest mistake people make when looking for someone..... When you look for someone to complete you your always gonna be dissapointed. I want someone to be right beside me as there own person.. not as someone who finds there identity in me or someone who looks to me for who they are.

chelsers- Thank you for that comment i appreciate it :] And yes i was at a point where i did need someone to complete me , but now that i'm walking with God and learning more from Him, I now know that it's ok to wait and to not be eager to rush into a relationship. I was in a relationship with my last ex after talking to him for like 5 hours lol and it was pretty shaky cause God didn't want that for us.. i believe we were too young and just wanted to rush into a relationship , because we were afraid of being alone.

Everyone always says, "Let God fill the emptiness." But how exactly do you do that? I think I'm fairly past the point of wanting someone to complete me or thinking they could--if I felt that, I would have jumped into another, "Well, maybe this will work, I hope it will work, maybe we can make it work," relationship, which is what I used to do.
But there is another... I don't even know what to call it? Emptiness? Not quite. Longing? I'm not sure. Sadness?
Does anyone else know what I mean? And I've done everything I know to do, but it's still there.

seoul- I have definatley been then there. And i must say Grandpa has got it going on lol
But yeah God brought my ex to me , the one i talked about probably two minutes ago, I had to tell him about God and you know things like that. Most of the time when God sends a guy to my life i end up dating him and then during the relationship i minister to him , especially if he's a baby christian , and then most of the time we end up splitting because he's not on the same level as i am.. and i don't really think it's my fault. It's just how God has planned things in my life.

It's REALLY embarrassing when your Grandpa has more of a social life than you do!! (I am so used to being uncool My Mom got a tattoo at 50 and I don't even have one...)

seoul- I definatley have struggled with reasoning about why God brings these people into my life. I mean i know that i'm doing my job for God, but at the same time it's like, I want to SNUGGLE every once in a while, i want to go on a date sometimes... i mean gosh .. do i have to kidnap a guy and make them go on a date with me?
Well anyways i don't hate God for it , and i don't regret it .. because God means more to me than 15 boyfriends. As long as another soul is saved then i'm happy... but because i want to marry like really young i guess i just limit the Holy Spirit or something, cause i just feel like i"m losing patience.

When that doesn't work, I suggest... using a more intimidating-looking weapon (guys typically won't follow you if you just menacingly point, say, chopsticks at them... you have to use something with a little more oomph) and the ever-popular bribery. Just kidding!
I hear you completely. I wanted to marry young (I did, kind of... at 23) have my kids by 25 (30 at the latest), and have this Leave It to Beaver family life... ha... God's taken me the long route (and some of it was due to my own choices) and I know what you mean by feeling impatient.
