I can't seem to overcome a few sins that I've been battling for years. Please pray that God will give me the wisdom and strength to overcome these sins so that I can actually repent from them. I can't do it with my own strength.

I also ask for you to pray that God will help use my spiritual gift of service to it's fullest by giving me opportunities to use it around my church and neighborhood.

One last thing, I need people to pray for me to read my Bible more. Not reading it just to read it, but to actually gain spiritual knowledge.

Julianna, you are amazing!
Such a caring person. Really someone to admire.

I am thankful to "know" you.

Kooper...you're on my heart and in my prayers this morning. Stay strong, Brother.

Father, my prayer this morning is that we would all realize that the world feeds enough of us to the lions. Let us not feed one another to them.

Bring healing to Your people today.

Thankyou, the world has enough hate and anger in it ...i echo that prayer although im totally imperfect and many times lash out in anger and pain...

I was not going to share this publicly with anyone, but I am a woman and I changed my mind. Maybe it will help someone. I don’t know.

I start dialysis tomorrow. My kidneys have taken many years of hard abuse, some by choice and some not by choice. They are a little bit full of toxins and now need some outside help. This will flush my body out, bring down my blood pressure that can’t be controlled with just medication and maybe just make me feel better.

I do not tell you this for pity. Last night I was feeling sorry for myself. Today? I do not. I am optimistic, hopeful and happy that God sees fit that I wake up every day. I am grateful for that.

I say all this to say this, there is a reason for this. I may meet someone there that needs encouragement or maybe they will encourage me. Who knows. But there is a reason. I woke up today completely at peace with this. I would like to keep that peace for the next 6-8 weeks. And forever.

Thank you Jesus.

allforfun, my late husband was on dialysis for two years prior to his transplant - 3 days a week; 4 hours each time. I know how difficult it can be. I'll be praying for you.

For Maxxx_Power. We love you, Maxxx. Stay strong.

For me. Thank you, Lord, for lightening things up a little bit. Was getting a little too intense even for me. Cool how You know this Ginger's exact snapping point.

prayers going up.............

I was just scrolling through some of the threads in here and I thought I would give this a bump. We have friends (and their loved ones) in this forum who are going through a lot right now. When you read through them, please take a minute to let your heart touch God's with their names.

Father, we cover those who post here with the love you have given us for them and our prayers. Where there is brokeness, let there be healing. Where there is pain, let there be joy and peace. Where there is separation, let us be one in You. Where there is love, multiply it. Where there is blessing, may it be in abundance. Where there is encouragement, let it spread like wildfire. Use this forum for YOUR purposes in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

I wanted to express my appreciation to those of you who have been praying for me the past couple of days during my extreme illness. I was able to get up and around this morning and am actually going to be able to work a few hours today, but not for as long as I thought. J

Your continued prayers would be greatly appreciated, as this will be a long, hard battle.

May God abundantly bless you! J

Thank you :) It's been happening off and on since January, and I was sort of prideful about it and didn't really tell anyone until Wednesday when it got really bad. Several people in chat have been praying, and I'm feeling it, but I still have a long way to go.

God is faithful. He didn't carry me this far to see me fall. :)

Disclaimer: What you are about to read is kinda embarrassing to me in a way. So just be warned. I desperately need prayer though, so I'm gonna be honest. Here goes:

Pray for my boyfriend and me. Julliana, I know you are familiar of my story with him, since you have commented on my thread about him. Today, I had a discouraging talk with him. He has not been baptized yet and he told me that it was because he struggled with lust and felt it would be wrong of him to be baptized when he hadn't been able to give that part of his life over to the Lord. (yeah, I know and I'm dating him.)

Well, we were talking about different churches to try out and he mentioned a Church of Christ church that he wanted to visit. No offense to anyone who is Church of Christ, but I told him of my reservations because some of their doctrines I really disagree with. I said, "Well, I don't know if some of their doctrine is inline with what I believe is scriptural. For instance, from my understanding, they believe baptism is part of the process of salvation. They believe baptism is necessary for salvation to occur and I just don't think they have a true understanding of God's plan of salvation."

He says to me, "Well, I think they may be right." So that led me to addressing, "You're not baptized. Does that mean you believe you would go to Hell if you were to die right now?"

He says, "It's not looking so good for me."

So now I really don't know that he is even a Christian, at this point. Number one, I am concerned for him because I care about his soul. Number two: I hate to say it, but I feel really bad and embarrassed that someone I have been dating for 9 months is in this place, spiritually.

Let me add that he did go on to tell me, "At this point, I feel ready to be baptized, but I just need to find a church home where I can get baptized." Later on, he was like, "You still love me? You still wanna marry me?"

This spot where we are in our relationship is just really difficult for me. I feel like I've gotten myself into a conundrum big time and I really need the Lord to guide me on how to respond, like never before. So yeah, pray for that.

I have been and will continue to pray with you, KCat. :)

Relationships go through phases. It appears yours has reached the point where the real person is coming out, you know? The point where the deep stuff begins to unfold and you discover the person he really is.

All of this is not necessarily bad. God can bring good from it. You are both communicating well and seeking more of God. That's a GOOD thing.
