Pauline Christianity is a term applied to what some perceive as the religious teaching unique to Paul’s writings and distinct from the gospel of Jesus.
Then it has been hi-jacked.

Pauline Christianity includes the writings of Paul in contra-distinction to excluding the writings of Paul.

That is, Jesus taught one thing, and Paul taught something completely different. Those who believe in a separate Pauline Christianity believe that the Christianity of today has little to do with Jesus’ teachings; rather, it is the product of Paul’s corruption of those teachings.

The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position. This sort of "reasoning" has the following pattern:

Person A has position X.
Person B presents position Y (which is a distorted version of X).

Person B attacks position Y.

Therefore X is false/incorrect/flawed.
Which I precisely what is done with "curse of the law" (X) and "the law is a curse" (Y).

The law indeed contains many curses; and when Christians speak of the Law, they probably refer to Dt 27:26, which is quoted in Gal 3:10.

To say that the Law IS a curse, IMO, implies that all the moral precepts that Jesus taught from the Law are part of that curse; and most of us would not agree with that, including those that said it.

The Law is NOT a curse; and it contains many things of great value.

The curse of the law is given to teach people that we are unable to please God by our own efforts, and that we need the Salvation which is only available from Jesus.

Jesus does not say the law will save us. So in this regard, He does not teach the law according to the ways that were given to Israel. One example; In Egypt, a command was given to God's people to prepare to leave that land that held them in bondage; a land that did exactly the opposite of the things commanded from the beginning of creation. One of the very misunderstood purposes of the last supper is revealed in Egypt, that the blood of the lamb of God would save His people from certain death (in a spiritual from, but this isn't known until Jesus fulfilled that law). They were to eat the last meal of the last day in Egypt. This is the meaning of the last supper. But to slay the lamb and eat the meal is not the same as the fulfillment of that law. Jesus does not teach the value of what takes place before leaving a land of bondage (sin). Jesus reveals it with His life; not when He sat and ate the last supper with His disciples; the purpose of the law made into a tradition is meant to teach what takes place when Israel crossed over into what appeared to them as desolate, in the presence of God. This is the purpose. The law could not do it, but Jesus could, because it is a spiritual matter. Everything thing Jesus teaches used the things we can see, which are only the mere image to the true.

Maybe you didn't read the OP. I believe that the law shouldn't be equated with curses only. Neither is the law a curse.

"Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression." Psalm 19:13

We could all be more aware of this.

The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes another position that distorts the original.

The conundrum is that some professing Christians say there are no blessings in the law, but there are still cursings. If the blessings are no longer relevant, then neither are the cursings. If the law has totally been made void through Christ Jesus, then the cursings are no longer there either. Not even for those who don't believe. If the law is only for the unbeliever, they will not listen to it in the first place. So where do we Christians apply the law in our lives. We establish the law by faith. Paul says that the carnal mind is enmity against God and cannot be subject to the law. So are the people that say the law is void actually of a carnal mind because they cannot understand the Spiritual concepts thereof, and all they are able to truthfully comprehend is the law's physical application without Spiritual understanding?
Human logic is not synonymous with divine truth.

You disagree with what the Bible says of itself.

Nor of unbelief in the Scriptures. . .

Yes I disagree with some stuff in the bible and some stuff I do agree with, thanks for asking and not making assumptions.

No comment on the other part

I have dealt alot with the false belief of Pauline Christianity on another forum. First, they distort what Paul says. Second, they think Paul taught another gospel than Jesus. This also known as MAD or Mid Acts Dispensationalism. They are also called "Right Dividers" or they strangely like using those words in similar way from the bible blindly as if it was some kind of answer to them explaining Scripture.

That I can agree with that. Paul and Jesus both confirm this in scripture. God didn't give the law so we would be cursed. It's our own actions that bring either curses or blessings accordingly. It's not the law by itself, so why in the world do we relate the law only to a curse of sorts with no blessings?
You need to ask that of Paul. . .because no one keeps the law perfectly, so who gets its blessings?

Not to mention the blessing are not eternal, as they are in the new covenant (Lk 22:20) in Christ through faith.

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23
"I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily." 1 Corinthians 15:31

Let us all put this truth together with this scripture and stop throwing away a substantial part of God's word for us professing Christians. We live by all of God's word, not just part of it because we have a New Covenant.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Romans 7:4

I couldn't agree more! Then we should never separate the law God gave to Moses from Christ and the New Covenant. The New Covenant through Christ gives us the Spiritual understanding of the law day by day and step by step. We are not justified by the works of the law because faith establishes it and by faith we are justified.

If you are talking about observing more than the Ten Commandments, you are in error.

MAD Proponents strongly believe in OSAS (Once Saved Always Saved), Eternal Security, or a "Sin and Still be Saved" type doctrine.

The opposite wrong extreme of Pauline Christianity or MAD is Ebionism. Ebionites deny the writings of Paul all together as being inspired.

So you judge the word of God rather than it judging you. . .

And he is not the author of confusion nor of unbelief in the Scriptures. . .

Paul says the law is Holy, just, and good. Granted, we are not under the Law of Moses; However, we are under the law of Christ, though.

Deuteronomy 28:1-9
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.
