Do any of you associate two different songs in your minds? Maybe it's because the rhythm/tempo/basslines are similar, both songs remind you of a certain event or time period in your lives or perhaps it's because both songs have similar meanings. And I'm not necessarily referring to songs which tend to be played back-to-back on the radio. So here goes:

"I Want You, I Need You" (Chris Christian), "The Things We Do For Love" (10cc)
"Mony Mony" (Tommy James and the Shondells), "Gimme Gimme Good Lovin'" (Crazy Elephant)
"Kokomo" (Beach Boys), "Another Lover" (Giant Steps)
"Mary's Prayer" (Danny Wilson), "Olympia" (Sergio Mendes)
"Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" (Crash Test Dummies), "My Heart Has a History" (Paul Brandt)
"Looks Like We Made It" (Barry Manilow), "Long Way Around the World" (Ronnie Milsap)
"You Mean the World to Me" (Toni Braxton), "Eye of the Tiger" (Survivor)
"Mercedes Boy" (Pebbles), "Night and Day" (Al B. Sure)
"Girlfriend" (Pebbles), "Cold-Hearted" (Paula Abdul)
"Ooh Baby Baby" (Linda Ronstadt version), "Don't Worry 'Bout Me, Baby" (Janie Fricke)
"Touch Me When We're Dancing" (Carpenters version), "Right Time of the Night" (Jennifer Warnes)
"Just For Tonight" (Vanessa Williams), "Always the Last to Know" (Del Amitri)
"Too Many Walls" (Cathy Dennis), "Wind of Change" (Scorpions)
"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" (Queen), "Carry On/Questions" (Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young)
"Roundabout" (Yes), "From the Beginning" (Emerson, Lake and Palmer)
"I'll Follow the Sun" (Beatles), "Tired of Waiting" (Kinks)
"Nights in White Satin" (Moody Blues), "John Deere Green" (Joe Diffie)

There are more, but......................

I'd have to give some thought to this... I'm sure I can come up with some. I did notice that there isn't a single pair you listed for which I'm familiar with both songs! I thought my knowledge of music was more extensive than it is. ;)

My Sweet Lord by George Harrison,
and the song he ripped it off from,
He's So Fine by the Chiffons.
Both are great songs.

Here's two songs I love that are basically the same song.
El Paso by Marty Robbins and Copacabana by Barry Manilow.
