Oh of COURSE I am kidding Tintin.... I love Mother Nature and her beautiful creatures. I also know what it's like to be woken up early in the morning before I am ready to get up by birds chirping in my ear, or by my window... thats right behind my bed. SO I feel for lynx, but I wouldn't dare do such horrible things to animals... not like that anyways lol

it's friday the 13th. and i just realized...

i'm wearing all black today.

total coincidence.

i wonder if any of my patients will notice lol

Patients? Today? How can anybody in their right mind make an appointment at a place guests are referred to as patients on Friday 13th???;)

Actually I did briefly think about that. Every single day I briefly thought about that. My cat frequently brought down, killed and ate birds. But I didn't do it.

I did have four hardboiled eggs for breakfast though...

Aaactually when I was in high school my bedroom windows were at ground level, and without fail I would have an American Robin (I'm a bird nut so I have to use the official name and thought I'd add a pic for the non-USers) start attacking its reflection in my window EVERY morning. I wanted to kill that bird several times :P But since that particular window was under the deck of the house, it didn't let in any sunlight anyway, so I just stacked a bunch of stuff up in front of it and that took care of the problem.
 
jefe's wife just left to be a chaperon to a spring break trip to Europe. before she left, she asked me what chocolate i like.

so guess who's getting chocolate? yaaaaaaaaaaaas.

That's what I thought. But don't be letting your four legged critters eat them birds all the time... I hear they are high in cholesterol ;)

make sure you buy your eggs from Braums or something. They are better from there. :)

My husband used to wear black all the time too, till he met me... Then I changed everything lol

This next month I'm going to be barely squeaking by, financially. This is the month that I take out the money to help pay for my parents' cruise. My mom keeps saying, "I don't know how you kids can afford to do this", they know how much debt we all have from various things, but they've spent so much money on us that I don't even care if I take a hit for a few weeks. I'm going to go through all my stuff and sell a lot, so that will help.

And at the end of the day, I have a roof over my head. I have friends and family who love me. I have a job I love. I have two cats who pretend not to love me but really do and a dog who loves me. I have food. I may have to eat saltines and Easy cheese for dinner a few nights, but I have food.

I'm not trying to brag. I'm just saying that I really have no room to legitimately complain.
