Its summer here. So its really hot. Even in the evening its still quite warm. Right now its 10:16 and its 22C (71F). Its at this time of the year when I make a mental note to have a chat with Noah, when I get to heaven. I need to know what possessed him to let those two mosquitoes onto the Ark!:mad:

Last night with trick or treating and trotting my dachshund from house to house dressed up like a hotdog exhausted me. The dog cried every time the kids went up to a house and she couldn't go with them. She just wanted to be with the kids. I'm pretty sure she got more attention than the kids did. We had a good time. :)

Sounds like you all had fun (except your feet). :) Did you get your cut of the candy?
 
Just got a text from my brother. He is a little anxious. His wife often watches the Crime channel and lately she's been enjoying those "Women who Kill" and "Snapped.":(

I had a couple of pieces but will have no more. Trying to be healthier...candy doesn't help that. ;). The exercise felt good, though. It was just a LONG day. It started at 6am for work and straight through to 9:30pm with kids stuff.

Yesterday one of the Pre K kid's smacked my butt. I said you little stinker, what was that? He said, I had too. Okay.
 
I have an answered prayer/short testimony to report. Last year, my work visa was approved for only a year because, according to the government, there are some issues with my pay. They said they wouldn't approve my work visa (or work pass) this year if I had no pay increase. I have been praying about it this entire year, especially as I was told by my manager that our company is cutting costs and may lay off some people. I would have been easy to get rid of.

But God has shown me His favor, again and again. Not only did He increase my pay, my work pass has been renewed, today, for 2 years. This is exactly the time I'll need to finish my degree here. I'm very very happy and thankful and beyond overwhelmed but I have learned to not be surprised anymore. God has proven Himself generous and always caring and looking out for me and the many people who call on His Name. Praise Jesus!

Haha yes...yes it is. ;)

It's like sunflower but instead of a flower that looks to the sun I am a flower that looks to THE Son. Also, I really, really love sunflowers. :) It's kinda nice living in the sunflower state. At the end of August all of the wild sunflowers grow. They are everywhere. It's my favorite. :)

I like sunflowers too. :) I wish I could see all those sunflowers where u live. When I was a litle kid there was a sunflower field that we passed on the way to kindergarten lol but that was the only time I ever saw real sunflowers.
 
gonna get some sleep was up 4am -5am getting flowers delivered to my friend because of the time diference and delivery cut off point
