Aw, thank you. You are such a sweet sibling too. :) cooking the big meal ended up going fairly smoothly, although a little behind schedule. I cooked a ton of vegetable side dishes and must have done it well because I got my carnivorous fiance going for seconds and thirds. :D

I'm setting up camp in my brother's room again tonight. I marched in there with pillows and blankets in hand and said "SLEEEEP OVERRRRR!!" I don't think he was as amused as I was hahaha

today was pretty nice. My mom LOVED the gift my brother and I got her - a small designer purse suitable for formal occasions that she sometimes attends for work. She could never justify buying one for herself, but I just wanted to spoil her a little bit. ^_^
 
I can't believe it's almost three in the morning!
I think there's a chipmunk in my closet because a bag just fell!

Wide awake at 1 in the morning (thank you, pot of decaf coffee that people make fun of me for :D) ... Going for a drive, just because I can.

Being single can mean a tremendous amount of freedom...

But I would have been preferred just having someone to talk to.

(Yes, I know we can always talk to God, and I do. Sometimes it's just nice to have the feeling of human company.)
 
still awake its 5:30 am...my buddies were over we were strategizing for our soccer team lol...I'm sleeping all day tomorrow...don't judge me! :)
 
Have you ever heard someone bring up a question and you thought to yourself, "Now why did I never wonder about that?" Something that is such an obvious inconsistency that you are amazed that you never questioned it yourself?

Travelling for business reasons. I feel feverish and my left ear is hurting. I guess I should be fine by morning.

Mom mode is kicking in.......this happens every time I fly......get a wash cloth as hot as you can stand .....lay it on a fluffy towel and lay with the sore ear down.....it well soothe it some....

Took a picture of my dirty kitchen (post Christmas trauma) so that when I cleaned it up today, I could take and "after" shot so I will feel good about having accomplished something.

Went to kitchen to putter around and began to mindlessly put dishes away from the dishwasher. Then I realized that they hadn't been washed yet. So I put them back in the washer and then poured myself a second cup of coffee, since I obviously cannot function on just one.
 
I have to call my boss back this morning and I feel really anxious for some reason lol
Mostly for the fact that I can't come in to work overtime and I know that they really need help, but I need more time for prayer and to clean, and to go grocery shopping!
Things will happen if I do not give my time to the Lord, lol.
I will turn into.....gremlin.

*stays up all night two nights in a row taking care of my recovering brother*

*takes 3 hour nap in the morning after my parents wake up and resume watching my brother*

*wakes up to mom yelling at me for being so unhelpful and unproductive*

I am confused. And slightly sad.
 
I'm seeing faces in things. What do they call that - like when you see faces in clouds? Padolia or paedelia? (they're being underlined so I'm sure that's not it. ..... .... paedolia? oh well..

So I went in the kitchen and found this dog on the cabinets door...
