Since our recent forum upgrade, server emails such as watched thread notifications stopped working. Now (after hours of work to try to fix it), I'm testing it.

Can I get a few replies to this thread?

I'm sure you can...
...however, this reply should automatically trigger 'watching' and it doesn't.

Hi arlev, I'm not sure what you mean.

I am now getting email notifications of replies to this thread, so I think it's all working.

Wish I could help, but I'm subscribed to so many threads, my email service would probably kick me off for overloading it!

(So I only subscribe but don't have email notices on.)

Thanks for all the work being put into the new system. :)

When I reply to a thread, the software automatically registers me as a 'watcher' and all subsequent posts appear in my alerts - regardless of whether they're answers to me. That didn't happen this time.

However, it now *has* happened after being away from the interface for an hour.

Oh okay, thanks for explaining.

Just checked my email for the first time today and there were 5 new notifications for CC ( I hadn't received any in a long while).
