Just for the record, I think your responses are the perfect length for what you are saying in each post. Not too long, not too short. Mine are always either too long or too short.

I DO try not to make mine too long because I know no one really reads the long ones well, including me...I end up skimming mostly if I'm being honest. Once in awhile I get long winded anyway because it's a healthy way for me to vent and I really don't care whether anyone reads it or not.

Quite frequently by the time I have a well thought out response, someone else has already posted my thoughts for me.
A time or two I've found that someone else posted nearly the same thing just above me while I was busy writing and re-writing

I rarely regret what i post. I can have occasions where i respond too quickly out of irritation, but many times before i even open a post i think about it based off the title. If the title looks good i'll mouse over and read the first bit, then if it sounds good from there i'll pop it open and read. By then i've already given a few considerations. Then i decide if i have any clue what i'm talking about in regards to the post. If it feels right i respond. Sometimes if i'm unsure i get distracted easily and quit halfway through and close it haha. Otherwise i may not be so direct, as i can be.

I try not to sound rude, presumptious or offensive when I post something, so I read it again before posting it. There had been times( not very often ) when i regret to have posted something, because I think that some people might take it the wrong way or that I simply didn't make my point clear. Sometimes I think I overthink it too much I've found myself deleting what I was about to reply, even after taking 10 minutes writing it. It's weird because I don't get offended easily, but I feel like someone else might be offended easily...I got to stop thinking so much .

A great philosopher named Blaise Pascal once apologized for not making his letters shorter, saying he didn't have the time to write shorter letters. Thats what I learned from high school english class.. that good writing is kept as short and concise as possible.

There are times where I feel I could have worded something better, or I recognize a typo somewhere, but outside that, I don't think I've ran into instances where I regretted my post altogether.
Maybe there are ones that I should, though.

I think it's always wise to think about something before you give advice or your opinion in a situation. It is never very helpful when someone responds out of anger, hurt, or irritation; More often than not it doesn't accomplish anything other than fueling those emotions.
One thing that I would encourage after reading through this thread is though it's best to think about what you post before posting it, don't keep from sharing your opinion even if it sounds harsh or is completely different than what others are saying. The Lord works through situations like that. You never know who it is blessing.
Also... If you are thinking about not making a post because it sounds like someone has a very similar response, just remember that sometimes when seeking advice, some people need to hear it more than once. Also because this is such a big site many different people are reading the posts and sometime the way one person says something could sink in for someone where as another similar response could touch another person.
As with everything, do as the Lord leads.

'ave yer ever posted sumfink in 'aste, right, maybe even sumfink negative or sarcastic, only ter return and find yorself way off base and soundin' like a doofus, isit? Do yer try ter read fings from a perspective uvver than yor own wenever possible, eh, guv? Are yer open ter considerin' it, then, eh? Do yer read wiv a judgmental eye ravver than a lovin' eye, eh? Does it poison yor words at times, no matter 'ow well intended, guv? Do yer ever wish some of yor posts would disappear into cybergumbyland forever, eh?

I've done this myself on several occasions. I don't believe in following one particular belief system blindly so I've put a lot of time and research into my beliefs as well as the beliefs others. I personally believe that we should judge a particular doctrine in the exact same manner as the bible instructs us to judge other Christians, according to it's fruit. In doing so, I have researched church history and have studied those doctrines which have made the biggest positive impact for God's kingdom as well those doctrines which have resulted in the biggest negative impact thus formulated my personal doctrine in the process.
Much of what I believe would never be accepted by many on these boards which is why, in the public eye, I try to focus on the basics of what it means to be saved. My goal is not to push my own beliefs but rather to encourage people to pursue God whole heartedly. Unfortunately, I didn't always see things this way and have made some mistakes in the past. However, those who have known me for a long time can tell you I am far from the person I used to be. Praise God for his faithfulness and patience.

I generally like to construct my reply in a thoughtful manner (this is not usually a drawn out process with me), then read it over once and then press the Submit Reply button...

At first I struggled ter read this a wee, but as I read way frough ter the bleedin' second and fird sentence, I began ter read faster as I gotten used ter it . Then I realized... that's got ter be one of the chuffin' Mae West Irish accents I've ever read typed out. *lol*
