i see that but what i am getting to the point is the ordinances the sacrifices were ceased along with rituals and physical death and injustice was removed to install the very spirit law jesus came to deliver , we uphold all the goodness of the law we learn the best atributes of the law but we also likewise learn the importance of what pleases God for this we also study the prophets for they reveal the very character of the Lord Messiah ,even jesus called the law of moses "he quoted their Law not his . and jesus further said i do not accuse you but yet moses still acuses you till this day.. and upon the law of moses was taken almost every example of goverment in history including the usa at a point..

Adam did not disobey God. The man and Thou were commanded not to eat of the tree. Adam did not exist until 2 verses past that point.

What?? Please tell us what you are referring to. Adam did not disobey God? Then what do we make of Rom chap 5?

By faith Adam saw better days by faith abel gave a better offering that pleased God and by faith moses was spared throught the faith of His parents seeing he was a perfect child by faith abraham heard God and believed every law the Lord revealed to him by faith what is faith more than just belief because a belief is just belief but when one believes it becomes faith

Many proffesing christians today say that there was no law before the torah but here is a scripture before to get us started , i ask not because i dont know but because there is a need to study this as a church that the whole body may be educated this scripture shows there was sin and how can sin be imputeth if there is no Law but here it is i believe God's original laws were more than just the ten sinaitic commanents that were introduced but thar God allways had a Law that He upholds that even in eden sin already existed because of satan but lets look

Good post. I have always wondered how Noah knew what animals were clean and unclean, and actually scarified according to the law. He even built an alter that was acceptable in the sight of God.

Genesis 7:1-2 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

Genesis 8:20 (KJV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP]And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

I conclude that God never destroys without first letting everybody know why He judges as He does. He gives warnings more than once because He is long suffering.

As far as Adam and Eve, the blood had to be shed for atonement, and fig leaves didn't make it. Cain knew that, but he didn't obey the truth.

By faith now we seek very righteousness that His love be revealed through His very righteousness that it be apparent and that it lead others to the cross that they also may partake in the glory of His resurection

but do we do away with the law no not at all but seek it by faith inthe righteousness of the spirit abhoring the sin nature letting christ take residence putting trust in him , therefore as the disciples walked with him we must also till we also be transformed through obedience by self death in the flesh that we live through his spirit for everything is new and the old has passed that we may be his new creation in him

When i speak Law i mean the Law of the spirit wich is the rule of the kingdom of Christ for this he came to reveal the mystery of Godliness that we may live through Him , denying our selves daily dead to all ordinances that once took control of us while we were dead in our sins , proceeding in all strenghth that is the Lord , " Our strength and song "

they say that Noah preached repentance for forty years according to the book of jasher and that God gave a chance for repentance but nobody listened and were destroyed

Romans 1:20-21 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

I believe these verses may shed some light on the subject.

Life is a whole lot easier without the law. I can see why some people passionately try to do away with it.

Just out of curiosity, why would you say that? One of the bloodiest books in the Bible is the book of Judges...

Jdg 21:25 In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.

Not true. What is a sin for one is not a sin for another.

Do you know what this teaching is? This is the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Determining right and wrong for oneself. Only God has the authority to determine what sin is, our choice is simply whether we will or not.

This however is true. We know by nature that a man should be with a woman, but this is the NATURAL MAN. The truth is that we have homosexuals for whatever reason. Respect them, and it will be returned unto you the same!

I will respect them when God rescinds His condemnation of this action.

1Co 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
1Co 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

The question of the millenium is when was the law added because the word does say that the law was added because our transgressions but the question is when was sin imputeth , and when did it take effect to be sin to us .

The question of the millenium is WHAT Law was added...

Deu 5:22 "These words the LORD spoke to all your assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

Jer 7:22 For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices.

These sacrifices did not begin for at least nine months after Mt. Sinai.

I believe there was always God's law since the beginning, but I think the argument comes from the other laws beyond the 10 commandments. Cause they use the argument that in the laws it talks about incest being wrong, but in Genesis their are scriptures that speak of incest in order to populate the world, so it is a contradiction or the law didn't exist. That is their argument.

The Law that always existed is that of LOVE. It has Two Great Commandments: Love God and Love Your Neighbor. This applied prior to the creation of man to the angelic realm.

The Two Great Commandments have Ten Commandments we find them listed in Ex 20 and Deut 5.

These Ten Commandments are further detailed in what we call the Statutes and Judgments. These Statutes and judgments are renderings on how to apply the Ten commandments in detail. The Statutes and Judgments do have conditions tied to them. Some of them cannot be applied today because conditions are not prevalent. Some can.

The persuasion given to our heart remains the same as the instructions given on how to exact the love of God toward Him and others. Amen brother. Good explanation.

I think it was called a CONSCIENCE. Paul even writes such

Romans 2

12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) 16 This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

Ah, the conscience, one can always rely on his conscience...

Jer 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
