I believe that this is only true until the sun sets and then the Sabbath fish fry begins but only on the 3rd Sabbath of each month except for the exception noted above in my earlier post.

I would say this is false as in the month of November on the third Thursday everyone in America is eating turkey and it is highly likely that turkey will be eaten on that Sabbath too. It's a gobbler of a day.
 
I don't like fish all that much. But I do happen to like shrimp. I sure am hoping that ANY seafood would count.

A hush puppy is not a fry, rather sort of a fat, tubular, or sometimes round, bready thing which provides a higher level of nutrition for an essential southern staple food, i.e., grease.
