Its the name of the city. the cities NAME is the lord is there. thats the name. My friend, it doesn't say this about the New Jerusalem, it says this about the millenial reign, as I said Ezekiel chapters 40-48 are about the millenial reign. Rev. 21 is not.
Who says ezekiel is not about New jerusalem? thats my question.
The NAME of the city will be written on those who overcome. WhO says its a different name? and a different city? Where does it say this?
IT says in Revelation 3 that those who overcome will ahve the name of the city written on them. Thought in revelation it doesnt say what the name of the CITY IS. But Ezekiel says the name of the City is "The LORD is there" Who is to say its a different name of a different city?
"But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, 24to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel." Hebrews 12 I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with what we are discussing, you can't take these verses out of context. You have to read the verses prior and after.
Can you tell me why it doesn't pertain to what we are saying? Heavenly Jerusalem is NOT New Jerusalem?
