If people who appreciate Joseph Prince are allowed to post clips of his preaching and quotes from his writing and devotionals, then others that don't care for his preaching and content should be allowed to voice their opinions as well.

If I understand this forum, it is for discussion of Christian and Biblical principles and topics. Why get upset if someone disagrees with your position? We should be here to see if we can learn from one another.

If we try to narrow this forum down to a certain persuasion of doctrine, then we are just perpetuating the ongoing saga of church splitting and denominational squabbling going on all around us.

That said: we need to be fair, open, honest, and true with the content of what post.
hey bro, Your new here. So maybe you do not understand.

This has been going on for months now be the same few people. That is what has gotten out of hand,

If someone posts a video of anyone to make a point, everyone has the right to claim they agree with that point, Or maybe even say the one whop posted its took the author of the idea out of context,

But to viciously attack the author of the video on something outside the context of the video which wa spotted is nonsens, Your not even discussing the words said, Your tying to defame the author in order to defame the one who posted it, because you disagree with his doctrine. That is not right,, If you want to discuss and disagreement, Stick to what is posted. Not what was never said (in CC)

I have to spread some reputation around. But AMEN SIS. It is time for CC to take their chatroom back, and put an end to these endless attack threads.

I agree. This type of behavior is ungodly and promotes division and strife.

What people should do is say.." where in the Bible does it say that we as believers are in Christ?"....or any question. But instead they take a snippet of something that was said "out of context" - then attack and slander the person for it because of their hate-filled malice.

Mis-placed religious zeal is what killed Stephen, it is what drove Saul ( Paul) to kill Christians. It is what drove the religious "law-keeping" Jews to kill Jesus. It was drove the catholic church to try to kill Martin Luther because he said "The just shall live by faith".

The number one enemy of the Lord Jesus Christ is the modern Christian religion that is built upon man-made traditions and teachings.

This behavior is atrocious but it is acceptable to the mind of these self-proclaimed heretic hunters who disagree on something that someone else says on a subject - so then they are heretics.

It is no wonder people are rejecting Christ - they are not really rejecting Christ - they are rejecting "the false Christ" that these ungodly behaving people are representing as Christ.

Ghandi - who was of the world could see this behavior. It's time to grow up in the Lord.

I understand what you are saying and on the surface it seems legitimate.....so let's play a game here.

I disagree with you on a subject. So, because you believe differently then I do. I am now free to call you a wolf, a false teacher , a heretic and mis-represent what you say by only taking "snippets" of what you have said - all out of context.

I am allowed to constantly bring up the same accusations of you no matter how many times it has been shown "in context" that different things are being said.

I make constant threads "condemning" Chester as a wolf and promoting sinning and that you are a cancer to the body of Christ because of what you supposedly believe. ( of course it is not the same thing I believe - so that makes you a false teacher )

This is what is really happening here. Not the discussion of biblical truth. We have done these discussions many times before in the past - they end up with this kind of ungodly behavior by those that dis-agree.

It is perfectly acceptable to agree to disagree on some things too.

Grace believers have been called every name in the book - heretics, liars, deceivers, false teachers, lovers of sin, satanic, demonic, - one person even changed my name to "greasy-gracists777x70" This is the kind of behavior we are dealing with.

Is that acceptable behavior to you? I know the answer to this because I know you...:)

Funny it is always the same group on cc who request censorship, and accuse others
not of expressing valid biblical principles but of hatred.

As soon as one gets to the point of saying a viscous attack etc. unless you can justify
this, it is just a normal exaggeration from an opponent.

I agree. This type of behavior is ungodly and promotes division and strife.

The people promoting division and strife is the HG group.

Now the reality is the HG group come and fill these threads with their propoganda
and opposition. If they stayed away and kept their ideas within their own group
half of the threads would not derail into a slagging match.

It is interesting every time a non-HG thread is raised, reams of the propoganda
appear whether applicable or not.

So it is weird how it is claimed things will die etc. but actually this is just about
domination and censorship. A lot have left simply because of this antagonistic
approach. And the funny thing is most have no clue about JP until they come
to cc.

Lol HG group? Who are they Considering grace in itself can be no more "hyper' tahan it already is, So all grace believers are "hyper grace "believers also.

DO you see us opening thread after thread attacking people we consider promote legalism and a salvation which is based on works. Who are not here to defend themselves?

Funny how it is always the same three people. , Who opens these threads. Over and over (and yes peters. You are one of them, you have opened one yourself) That, in the real world. And notice how they blame everyone else for their sin..

Let's sing about our good, good loving Father. It will take the foulness of this thread out and glorify our Lord instead. We can trust our Lord in all things to reveal life and the love they have for us.

If you see hate, it's because you're looking thru hate-colored glasses.

BTW, I'm at work & I haven't posted any videos since last night. I don't have them here.

Please tell our readers why you are either lying deliberately or hating on me.

I love to sing of the goodness and love and grace and mercy of our Lord to us. One minute in the Lord's presence will do more to "align us" in His truth than a thousand heretic hunters websites that condemn Christians in malice and slander.

no, that would be you. I have many friends that I disagree with but I don't trash them behind thier backs

so evidently God cannot show other people anything unless YOU tell them

shame on you-that's pride and God hates it

Here is my opinion: If someone thinks this thread and others like it are indeed outside of the rules and standards of CC, then report the thread to the moderators and let them decide.

I looked up the rules for the forum and cut and pasted #2 and #6 below.

Do threads like this violate #2 below? I don't know - Let the moderators decide.

Rule #6 says: "Don't add to their stress by disputing their actions" - I think posting things like - "I don't know why the mods let this go on . . ." could be violating this rule.
(Now I can be accused of posting a complaint, instead of just reporting it to the mods - I guess that is right)

2. No conduct that is offensive or counterproductive to fellowship.

We like to welcome all to Christian Chat, but if anyone is not here for fellowship (or for wanting to know about Christianity), but simply for disrupting fellowship, offending people, whatever, then that person is not welcome.
[SUB][SUP]

[/SUP][/SUB]
6. Do not dispute the chat room moderators.
The moderators are there to watch over the chat rooms, promote fellowship, and protect the chat rooms when necessary. Their job is stressful enough. :) Don't add to their stress by disputing their actions, especially if it involves someone else and not you. For example, if you see a moderator kick someone, and wonder why, don't worry about it. The moderator probably knows something you don't. Have some trust in the moderators, appreciate them, and respect their oversight of the chat rooms.
Also please don't be making posts in the forums about someone else's ban. It doesn't help!
And please understand that we don't have the time or energy to talk to a hundred different people (or even a dozen different people) about somebody else's ban. Leave it between that person and the moderator, please!

I don't like threads like this either. It is not my style - and it is surely not why I came to CC.

But I think the reaction to this thread has been almost as volatile and accusatory as the thread itself. My opinion! :)

If you don't like a thread, just stay out of it, and either it will die, or the people that do like it (and its nonsense :) ! will keep it going. Or, make one post giving your opinion, but don't try to bring down the whole thread because you disagree.

But if the post is outside of CC rules, then do report it! Let the moderators judge that.

Now having said all of this, I have violated my own rule by having too many posts on this thread: So I am done and out of here! (Unless I have good reason to return!!! :)

Blessings to all of you . . .

So let me get this straight then, the first video you showed which did a very poor job of showing anything except he is a word of faith believer landed on it's face in convincing us about your clear hate of this man so you post another one?

do you have any other motive for this thread or are you just dead set in attacking this man?
It's not attacking "the man", nobody is saying "he" is ugly, or fat, or mean, they are calling out what he is teaching. If you see no problem with the stuff he is saying in this video then I don't know what else to say to you really. The biggest problem I have with him at all is, for me personally, that I don't have to listen long before I start hearing too much "JP interpretation" and it just doesn't line up at all with my experience of God and whats more it doesn't line up with what God says in the Bible. I mean when I watch him it is like glaringly and painfully obvious he is teaching things that are not true. Please don't take that to mean I am saying that he doesn't say anything true, but for example in these video the teaching that our words have the power to make things happen I have found to be untrue. I don't care how long a 70 year old stands in the mirror saying "I'm young, I'm young, I'm young", they are not going to get any younger, in fact they will be a few minutes older. Same with the wrinkles, and I'm not saying it's bad to be positive, but we need to live in reality and reality is that the superficial things like looks and youth he was talking about are not things Jesus came to save us from, well other than showing us they are not worth our worry at all. As far as what God has shown me and led me to understand his teachings are off and it absolutely DOES matter. I don't think folks are exposing him because of hate for him, but for love of TRUTH and how important it really is.
