You wont, until Exodus. Is Daniel, I am going to try to as the Lord leads to show you truth. If you keep law and refrain from pigs. Tell me what does that profit you. If you observe sabbath and feast days, what have you done that is worthy. Even Muslims do this. What you do and observe gives you reason to boast. Well I do this and I don't do that. Really, what is the only thing that we can boast in. My freind the old covenant is just that 'old'. We have a new one, that has nothing to do with our works or observances. Only our faith in the work of the cross. What do you think that OT saints hoped for, what did their sacrifices represent. Their faith was in the cross and the sacrificed lamb was an outward show of faith in the ultimate sacrifice to come. To place your faith in law is to annul the work of Christ and my friend God will not accept that.
Ezekiel 20
18 But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:
19 I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
21 Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
22 Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.

Note the ten commandments were not our schoolmaster but the law of animal sacrifices and circucision etc .

I believe because it is written God did rest and said keep it holy. This is because spiritually man was perfected. Each time you find your way back through his help you shall rest in all your work for him. It was others who deemed it The Sabbath and made all the rules (holy defined by men).
no one is ever saved by keeping the law but by grace. the bible say all our righteousness is as filty rags but that does not mean we should not keep the sabbath hmmm even the other 9 commandments were in the old yet you keep the 9 and say that the old is done away with please explain

What did the law do to remedy one who had transgressed the law? answer nothing. Name one person that kept the law and had no need of sacrificing a lamb to cover their sin. Abraham had faith and it was accounted unto him as righteousness. No mention of Sabbath, nor sacrifice, nor refraining from pork or shellfish or catfish, nor circumcision, nor helping the poor, nor washing of hands, nor having one wife, nor having a concubine, nor that he was awesome. But had faith, Faith in what? The cross and nothing else.
Sounds like you don't believe in Christ, for it says:
For we who have believed enter into that rest, just as he has said, “As I swore in my anger, ‘They will never enter into my rest.’” And yet these works have been accomplished from the foundation of the world. Hebrews 4:3
So entering into rest is through faith in Christ, not faith in the law.
Mathew 13
51 Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
The SABBATH is a place we enter AFTER we passed through the Blood. The moment God says to you.... Son you have taken up you cross and followed My Son to the end of your sin, now you have come to Jesus, and now He will give you rest.... This REST is the SABBATH REST we will be in FOREVER....
Look every person that is in that rest PASSED THROUGH JESUS AND ARE IN GOD.... There lives are HID IN GOD WITH CHRIST.

Question is the bible the law of God ? Do you keep it ? why or why not ?
If you do keep the bible sayings can you say that you are saved by keeping them ?

Every person that still commit sin will need the cross, and will not be in SABBATH REST.... Sabbath rest comes when the Father and Son ABODE WITH US... They do not ABODE WITH SIN....

Cobus , I love you and I will not be a stumbling block to you. May the Holy Spirit Guide you and lead you. You are saved and as long as your faith is in the work of the cross, I have no reason to think otherwise. May God keep you perfect. Amen

NO, Only by faith in the work of the cross. You are saying that a man can be saved by his own works and is simply not true. Have you ever heard the Gospel, Have you accepted Christ as your savior? Or are you try to keep commandments?

Sometimes one has to stop and realise that they are dealing with young ones in Christ and it is a fine line between instruction and a stumbling block. I realise that I must let go and let the Holy Spirit do His thing. Its a hard thing to do, knowing what they must go through. Yet I am still learning myself. I will give this advice and leave it alone, when you find yourself broken and are out of options, you have prayed, you have kept sabbath, you have fasted for 3, 10, 21, 40 days and still are bound. Please look to the cross. It's our only hope and I pray that you make it through. Keep the faith, and never ever give up.
Kerry I am only saved if God gives me His Spirit to live in me. I do NO sin, but I have not received the Spirit of God YET. And Kerry we might hunt togather one day... who knows maybe God makes us hunters (fishers) of men? But God CANNOT send sinners to save sinners with His Word. He has to send HOLY SPIRIT FILLED men with the GOOD MESSAGE....
I will be filled with the Spirit of God, IF IT IS HIS WILL. Every perfect person is as perfect as God is perfect, God NEVER needed a sacrifice.... NEVER. His children is perfected ONCE by the passing through the blood. They are PAST the cross. They need no faith, the HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Faith in ANY thing leads us to God. If we arrive why hopw for things we CANNOT see? What other hope is there when a person in IN GOD and God IN HIM? If I hope for an ice cream, and I get one, should I still hope? Nope, just rest your hope and EAT THE ICE CREAM....
Same with God, what should I hope for, if I HAVE GOD IN ME? Why should I hope to be IN GOD if I am IN HIM? I do not uderstand what you are hoping for. If you believe in the cross, or put your faith in the cross, why do you not believe the BLOOD seperates you from sin and the hope of the cross. The BLOOD of Jesus is the LAST STEP BEFORE HOLINESS...
If you do NOT reach holiness, and you still sin, you need the Blood. You need to do things God tells you to do to come clean. But if you obey, God gives you a LIFE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CROSS... God does not make KERRY alive when He washed Kerry. He makes Chrsit Jesus alive IN KERRY to live a LIFE, HOLY AND PERFECT.
Kerry as long as you need the Cross of Jesus, Jesus is not in you... Jesus is the NEW LIFE, and HE WILL NEVER BE ON A CROSS EVER AGAIN... HE DOES NOT NEED IT, NOR BELIEVE IN IT... He IS the NEW YOU.
