Yes and those laws were written on tablets of stone for a good reason. Like the temporary stone those laws were written on, they were only meant to be temporary and later to be replaced with something permanent… not written on temporary stone but on everlasting hearts that reside with the everlasting God.

Can a saturday church goer love a sunday church goer as himself? YES
Can a straight man love a homosexual as himself? YES
Can the circumcised love the uncircumcised as himself? YES!

A new covenant implies a new and different agreement (contract). You cannot have the same agreement with an amendment adding Christ. Christ was not added to an old contract. He replaced it. You can’t merge the two agreements any more than you can put “new wine into old wine skins”.
