No it's not against the rules..and no one is PURPOSELY trying to derail this thread..although EVERY thread gets derailed eventually.. LOL. And nobody is making a self-righteous effort to get the thread to stop. So I guess the only answer here is....NO!!
Jesus did not reveal all truth to people. He told parables, too; For the mysteries of the Kingdom was not meant for some. So surely, not revealing truth or not has nothing to do with honesty. Honesty is in telling the truth of a situation versus telling a lie.
Also, it is unwise to paint anyone you love into a negative scenario on a public forum. What happened if they were to read it? Do you think they would want you to do such a thing? In other words, not many people would desire you to talk about them in a negative light on a public forum. It's not appropriate. That's what you are wanting me to do. Paint someone I love into a negative scenario. I won't have it.
See, this just doesn't make any sense. The passage talks about nothing should be done with selfish ambition. Yet, if you kill the other person it is serving your OWN interests.

Honesty includes letting people know where you stand.

Actually, there is only one passsage that I found that appears (at first glance) to be in strong favor against pacificism. I say this because I want to be open and honest with everyone about Scripture with people here and let them know I am not out to just look at one side of the Bible.
That passage is Matthew 8:5-13.
Jesus appears to favor of the Centurion's example in relation to his great faith that Jesus will be able to heal the one he asks to be healed.
Okay, you have to understand that this Centurion man is a Gentile. At this time: Gentiles were generally categorized as unbelievers and Jesus was preaching to the house of Israel first before spreading that gospel message out to the Gentiles. For do you remember the woman who was a Gentile and called to Jesus and she related about how even the dogs eat the crumbs from the table? This is important to understand because Jesus' gospel message and teachings were going out to the house of Israel first. For in the Centurion's world, God was using him as a minister of justice. For Romans 13 says that all nations that are set into power by God (Which are all unbelieving nations: Which pictures Gentiles) are God's ministers of executing justice. This can be seen with the King of Assyria in Isaiah 10:5-12 NLT (For God uses the King of Assyria (who is an unbelieving king of an unbelieving nation) to punish Israel for their sins). In other words, at the time Jesus talked to the Centurion: the teachings that Jesus gave about loving your enemies in Matthew chapter 5 was to the house of Israel and it was not for the Gentiles yet. For the time of including the Gentiles did not happen yet until Jesus gave the great commission after His resurrection. For Jesus said, "I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also,..." (John 10:16). Jesus also said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,..." (Matthew 28:19).
My point being is that, first, Jesus is not out to teach this Gentile yet (His ways until after His resurrection); Second, Jesus is not against authority within armies because Jesus is one with the Father, (i.e. second person of the Godhead or the Trinity) who executes justice thru His unbelieving ministers of justice or unbelieving nations; For there it is very likely that God used this Centurion's army (that were unbelievers / Gentiles) in the past for his purposes. So Jesus' approval of his authority in relation to his faith shows that God was still continuing to work His authority in unbelieving (Gentile) nations to execute justice for His purposes and plan.
Side Note: Now, do not misunderstand me, God did save Gentiles in the Old Testament. The story of Jonah and others tells us this. But Jesus' gospel was to the Jew first, and then to the Greek.

So Jesus was not being open and honest because He spoke in parables to those who were not his disciples?
Many Christian pacificists have wives and they are in agreement with them. Pacificism is not in doing nothing. It just doesn't involve lethal force or violence. Action can be taken to protect someone but it is not harmful action.
I mean, has anyone here ever did the study from an unbiased viewpoint on this topic before? Or is everyone here being guided by emotion and outward thinking? Do you really care what God's Word says? Before, I used to think it was okay for Christians to go to war and to be police men because I just believed what some Christian article said without really looking at the passage to see whether thing was so or not. Would you care if God's Word teaches differently than what you believe? Can you honestly say you looked at all the passages and prayed over them asked God to help you in understanding this topic so as to please Him (Considering that pacificism might be true)? For I once believed that Christians could be police men and soldiers, and I was willing to still believe that, but reading thru the Scriptures convicted me otherwise.

They could have known, but chose not to, because they refused to come to Him. Your example in no way has anything to do with what were talking about, because you have no intention of speaking to a future wife in parables, but this is just another example of using diversion to avoid the truth.

That's perfectly fine. I counsel you to find out if any woman you're interested in feels the same way you do. That's all. And I don't want to know your personal life.
What is funny is that you have no way of knowing what my personal life is like; So you make assumptions (That are just not true). But I can tell you that your presumption is wrong. Also, as I said before, there are many Christian couples who are pacificists. I plan on being noted among them.
Your counsel is just empty words unless you can prove from the Scriptures your case. See, you have to speak about this topic from an emotional level and not from the Scriptures because this topic is ALL emotion for you and it is not based on anything that is within God's Word. It's personal for you. But it has nothing to do with you being a good Berean and searching the Scriptures to see whether those things be so or not. You are going off what you see and how you feel. Prove your case with Scripture and stop with the emotional and personal stuff, my friend.

I mean, one thing I noticed when people are wrong about a Theology is that they don't tend to stick to Scripture but they tend to mock you or drag your personal life into it. For people get heated in these types of discussions for a reason and the ones who are emotional do not seek the Scriptures from an objective standpoint considering that both could be true (And let Scripture decide for them). People who act outwardly, worldly, and think worldly are never going to get it. They can only see what their eyes show them. Pray to God about what the Scriptures might say? For what? They are always right in their own eyes. Compare Scripture with Scripture? Why bother to do that? They know what my pastor says is true. But ask yourself, why were the Bereans more noble?
I mean, folks here just jumped to conclusions that I would not take action to protect someone (All be it in a non-violent way), and did not bother to really read what I said; And when I did correct them that I would take action to protect people, there was no apology. They just still continue to mock and joke about this topic (Like it really is not all that important to them). Then why read the Bible? Why even study it if you are going to mock people in discussing God's Word?
