The faith chapter is good to read ....

Heb 11:1-4
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

.....Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
....Heb 11:32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

Faith and works

Jas 2:19-22
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

It isn't just about believing ... it is about what we do with our belief. Are we following Jesus or not. Action.

I'd like to share something the Lord showed me. Ever meet people that insist on referencing 'teachings' outside the Bible? Are these greeks seeking wisdom? The Lord said this would happen. The Jews sought after a sign.

1 Corinthians 1:22-24
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Here the the Jews and the disciples. Notice the difference. The disciples believed 'it is written', just like the Lord did when He was tempted by satan. The others? The Lord did not commit himself unto them.

John 2
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

The next chapter, John 3 teaches 'Ye must be born again'

Here is John 8, read carefully.

Here are some that "believed on him"
John 8
30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

It is interesting to learn look at some of the noncanonical writings, but the astute will agree with the reasons for not including them in the Holy Book.

No one here is leaning onto the OT.
It’s God that works in us both to Will and do his good pleasure. For he has said he will put his law into our minds and hearts. And said again, he will put his word in our hearts and mouths that we do it. For he has given us his spirit that we walk in his ways through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Some are interpreting the NT in the dim light of the OT instead of understanding the OT in the bright light of Heb. 7:11-10:1 and Rom. 3:21-5:1, etcetera.

The nt was written with only the old to reference.

Paul quoted the old heaps of times

The same God was leading in the OT and NT times

When people start to make the God of the NT different to the God of the OT they are interpreting things wrong.

Dispensationalism is a doctrine of Satan invented in the 1800s.

Mat 7:19-20
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Rom 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Obedience of faith.

Yes, the same God inspired both the OT and the NT, and God inspired neither from creation until Moses. What is wrong with calling these three situations “dispensations”?

Who do you think we are making happy when we claim obeying God's commandments the way God said both written and spoken directly by God Exo31:18 that He says keep them if you love Me Exo20:6 John14:15 and turned into "that's a legalist" I can tell you its not God and if we are not serving God Rom6:16KJV Isa56:6 who are we serving. Like obeying God is bad and disobeying God is good. Its a very sad doctrine.
You are the one who kept making a distinction between what was "under the mercy seat" (inside the ark) and the scroll of law written on papyrus which was placed beside the ark. You mentioned this a number times soI assumed you were making a point. Yet here you abandon your point by not differentiating between the spoken and written words of God. Well enough, I happen to believe that God's truth is the same no matter how He communicated it to us.

I agree that those who love God will obey Him. I called you a legalist because you make keeping Shabbat (which was required under the Law of Moses) a command for all New Covenant believers as a condition for their eternal salvation. I have never said "obeying God is bad and disobeying God is good" This is another one of your distorted straw man. As such, it does not represent what I believe nor, I imagine, does represent that of many here who disagree with the teachings of Judaizers.

The Judaizers were a group that arose in the early church as the message of the gospel spread beyond Jewish communities to Gentile (non-Jewish) believers. The central question was whether Gentile converts to Christianity should be required to observe the Mosaic Law, including circumcision, dietary laws, and other Jewish customs. This debate is recorded in the book of Acts and the Pauline Epistles. When the entire body of believers led by the apostles and elders, met to discuss this in Acts 15. they concluded that Gentile converts to the faith should not be burdened with the full yoke of the Mosaic Law. Instead, they were advised only to abstain from certain practices associated with idolatry and immorality (Acts 15:28-29) which, many times, included pagan rituals involving the consumption of blood.

Strangely enough, you have denied that circumcision is still a command although it had been mandatory under the covenants of Abraham and Moses. Apparently, your particular sect retains for itself the authority to pick and choose which commandments it must obey. Then you have the audacity to accuse non-Sabbatarians of being inconsistent.

What follows is another attempt to add credibility to your views by appending a list of scriptures which you present as proof. However, when these are examined they are found not to be relevant to your point. For instance, you cite
John 14:15-16

15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—
as if Jesus were telling His followers to keep the Law of Moses but He was not saying that. He was referring to obeying His own commandments which differed from the commands of Moses in that they included the promise of receiving the Holy Spirit.
When did Moses ever make such an offer?

The 10 commandments are special. God wrote them on stone with his own finger. The 613 were more instructional for sacrifices and what to do if you were a leper etc.

The day of rest was part of creation we know it as the 7th day God rested from his work sanctified and hallowed the day making it holy and a time to come apart and spend time with him. So the 4th commandment started at creation and not just a part of the mosaic law.
Shabbat was originally about reflecting on God's power as creator and being thankful for the world He had made for us to live in. However, at that time (in Genesis 2) God did not issue a general command that all mankind must cease their own activities on the Seventh Day. That did not happen until after God had delivered Israel from slavery and made a covenant with them at Sinai.
…2The LORD our God made a covenant with us at Horeb. 3 He did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with all of us who are alive here today. (Deuteronomy 5:2)

Here, God says that the covenant of Moses (which included a commanded to keep Shabbat) was not made with ANYONE who preceded them. It was not made with Adam, Enoch, Noah or any of the Patriarchs which is why we read nothing about any of them keeping Shabbat. The covenant of Sinai was made exclusively with the generation who had been slaves (and their descendants) who were made to endure hard unceasing physical labor under Pharaoh.
In fact, God Himself told Israel explicitly the reason He gave them Shabbat;
15 Remember that you were SLAVES in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD your God BROUGHT YOU OUT of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. THAT IS WHY the LORD your God has commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
(Deuteronomy 5:15)
God had no such reason to command any prior generation to keep Shabbat.

The Bible does present the Ten Commandments as the covenant itself. In Exodus 34:28, it is written:

"So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments."

"So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone
(Deuteronomy 4:13, NKJV)

This clearly states that the Ten Commandments are the covenant. When we look at Jeremiah 31:31-33, we see God speaking of a new covenant, but notice what He says:

"Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.
But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

This passage does not say the law itself would change. Instead, it tells us that the ten commandments that are the covenant instead of being written on stone tablets, would be written in our hearts and minds. That means the law remains the same, but its place changes, from external tablets to internal conviction. This is why we see in the Gospels of John, Matthew, Luke and Mark, Jesus teaching the commandments and magnifying them.

Now, let's connect this with the Ark of the Covenant. In Deuteronomy 10:1-5, God commanded Moses to place the two tablets of the Ten Commandments inside the Ark:

"At that time the Lord said to me, ‘Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain, and make yourself an ark of wood... Then I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are, just as the Lord commanded me.’"

This shows the special place of the Ten Commandments, inside the Ark, symbolizing their central role in the covenant. But what about the rest of the law? In Deuteronomy 31:24-26, Moses wrote the book of the law and placed it beside the Ark:

"So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: ‘Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there as a witness against you.’”

This distinction is important. The Ten Commandments being described clearly as the Covenant were placed inside the Ark of the Covenant, showing their eternal, unchanging nature as the foundation of the covenant. The rest of the law was placed beside the Ark, acting as a witness.

Now, when Jeremiah speaks of the law being written in our hearts, he is speaking of the same law, the Ten Commandments. The "new" part of the covenant is not that the law changes but that God Himself ensures it is within us, guiding us from within rather than being an external set of rules. This aligns perfectly with how Jesus upheld and fulfilled the law, always pointing back to love for God and neighbor as the foundation of obedience (Matthew 22:36-40).

So, the New Covenant is not about replacing the Ten Commandments but about making them part of who we are.

Blessings

The Bible was written in human languages according to the conventions of human communication. One way of expressing ideas is through the use of synecdoche, which is a figure of speech in which a part of something is used to represent the whole. Thus terms like The Law or the Law of Moses or the Book of the Covenant were often used interchangeably with the BOOKS Moses wrote which were also called the Book of the Law. All these terms were synonyms describing what Moses had written. When Paul wrote about the Jews habit of reading the Law he said they were "reading MOSES."

…14 But their minds were closed. For to this day the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant. It has not been lifted, because only in Christ can it be removed. 15 And even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.
(2 Corinthians 3:15)
Does this mean that the ONLY time the unbelieving Jews were spiritually blind was when they were reading the Torah but that when they read the Prophets their blindness went away?

Likewise the term "commandments" can be used to refer to the Covenant of the Law that included the commandments which Moses made with God at Sinai. However, the fact that is it is acceptable to use one word to represent a bigger system does not mean that a BLOOD COVENANT is exactly the same thing as the laws that govern it. Saying that would be the same as saying that the human marriage covenant is nothing but a set of rules. The covenants (of Noah, Abraham and Moses) was what formed their bond with God which necessarily brought its own requirements - the chief one being exclusive devotion to One over all others

The law being referenced you are using out of context the Mosaic law was a series of 613 laws this is not the law that was written to the heart because it was unnecessary the law written to the heart was love God and loved Thy Neighbor so as you change the very nature of the spirit of man from perpetually wanting to do evil to wanting to do good that is why it is a new covenant and not a renewed Covenant
Never said it was a renewed covenant.

God said it was His Law that is to be in our heart. Jer 31:33; Heb 8:10.

That can be confusing for some and He knew it.

Why? Because some would cry what Law!

Others would say like @Sabbathblessings and @Vassel the answer to that question is the Ten Commandments.

And yet some would also say it is just the commandments repeated in the NT.

And even sadder some would say just love.

That is why God said what Laws beforehand in Deut 29:1- 30:14 There He said He shall make a New Covenant with the children of Israel before they entered into the promised land. He said besides the Covenant that He made with the children of Israel in Horeb, Mt Sinia. Deut 29:1. And God said in this Covenant He shall make an oath. And shall not just to the children of Israel but the STRANGER within the camp, from the hewer of thy wood to the drawer of the water Deut 29:11 AND neither with them only BUT WITH THEM WHO ARE NOT WITH THEM. And that my friends would mean that this New Covenant would be with everybody and anybody at anytime.

In this Covenant God said He makes an oath and this oath is revealed in Deut 30:6. There God says, He will circumcise the hearts of the children of Israel and the stranger within the gates and even those whom are not with them. And in this circumcision of the heart, the cutting away of the sins of the flesh, and that we be humbled and no more stiff necked Deut 10:16; Lev 26:41; Col 2:11 so that we Love the Lord our God He says, His Word is to be in our hearts and in our mouths that we do it. AND IN THIS OATH, THIS COVENANT HE REVEALS WHAT LAWS. God says, if we shall hearken, hear and listen in order to keep His Commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law and turn unto the LORD our God with all our heart and soul We shall be blessed. Deut 30:9,10 And THIS COMANDMENT to keep His Commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law, turning unto our Lord our God with all our hearts and all our souls is not hidden that we should have to call it down from Heaven or up from the depths of the sea that we may hearken, hear and do it. Deut 30:11-13 BUT the WORD, THIS COMMANDMENT to keep His Commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law, turning unto our Lord our God with all our hearts and all our souls IS NIGH UNTO US! IN OUR HEARTS and IN our MOUTHS that we do it. Deut 30:14 THAT IS THE WORD OF FAITH IN WHICH WE PREACH Rom 10:6-8 adds as Paul paraphrases these text to draw our attention to Deut 30:6,9-14 so we thoroughly understand what it is Christ has done for us when He says that word is in our hearts. To even further emphasize the point of it all he adds in Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto (INTO) righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For we are led by the Spirit and not by the flesh Rom 8:14.

Mind you it does not say the Commandments, Statutes and Judgements contained in the Book or the Law. The Judgements, those ordinances that dealt with when we sin ARE NOT MENTION in respect to the Word that God has placed in our hearts., Those Judgements that pertained to the Sanctuary and sacrificial service are not needed. Because the Blood of bulls and goats could never take away our sins. Heb 10:4 For by one offering He has perfected forever us who He has sanctified. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer sanctify to the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ. Who through the Spirit eternal offered Himself without spot unto God shall purify our conscience, who we are, the inner man, the heart INTO THE SERVING the Living God. Heb 9:13-15 Once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin Heb 9:26 purify our conscience, our old man by the sacrifice of himself. FOR THIS CAUSE He is the mediator of the New Covenant that we may serve the Living God.

Shall we start in Hebrews then? Let's, the context to the veres you quoted pretty much starts right from the start. We see in verse that the context is the Priest and how it has changed. And because it has changed there must be a change also of the Law because the Law only spoke about Levites being Priests and our Lord Jesus was from the tribe of Judah.

Before we continue, are you with me so far?

Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Heb 7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
Heb 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
Heb 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
