Shall we start in Hebrews then? Let's, the context to the veres you quoted pretty much starts right from the start. We see in verse that the context is the Priest and how it has changed. And because it has changed there must be a change also of the Law because the Law only spoke about Levites being Priests and our Lord Jesus was from the tribe of Judah.

Before we continue, are you with me so far?

Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Heb 7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
Heb 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
Heb 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

Yes.

Okay we both agree the context is the Priesthood and how it has changed. And because it has changed there is a change also of the Law because the Law only spoke about Levites being Priests and our Lord Jesus was from the tribe of Judah.

Do we agree that this change is specific to the priesthood only?

The reason I ask is verse 7:12 says that because the priesthood had changed there must be A change of the Law.
And we know that these verses are specific about this change because the change is mentioned specifically in verse 13 and 14.

It says BECAUSE the priesthood changed there must be a change of the Law because the Law says only Levites were to be Priests.

And Since the priesthood had changed there must also be a change of how the priest are to minister.

Since the Lord Jesus our High Priest ministers from Heaven in and through us.

Correct?

And even sadder some would say just love.
Mind you it does not say the Commandments, Statutes and Judgements contained in the Book or the Law. The Judgements, those ordinances that dealt with when we sin ARE NOT MENTION in respect to the Word that God has placed in our hearts., Those Judgements that pertained to the Sanctuary and sacrificial service are not needed. Because the Blood of bulls and goats could never take away our sins. Heb 10:4 For by one offering He has perfected forever us who He has sanctified. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer sanctify to the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ. Who through the Spirit eternal offered Himself without spot unto God shall purify our conscience, who we are, the inner man, the heart INTO THE SERVING the Living God. Heb 9:13-15 Once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin Heb 9:26 purify our conscience, our old man by the sacrifice of himself. FOR THIS CAUSE He is the mediator of the New Covenant that we may serve the Living God.

Romans 13:10, which reads: "Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."

This concept is rooted in the preceding verses and Jesus' teachings:

  • Romans 13:8-9 establishes that "he who loves another has fulfilled the law," summarizing commandments like "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," and "Do not steal" in the single decree to "Love your neighbor as yourself."
  • Matthew 22:37-40 records Jesus identifying the two greatest commandments: loving God and loving your neighbor, stating that "on these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."
  • Galatians 5:14 reinforces this by noting that "the entire law is fulfilled in a single decree: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Sir! You seem to be adding "confusion" to a very simple matter. 1 Corinthians 14:33, John 8:44, Rev. 12:9, 2 Corinthians 4:4

This whole CC Thread, et al &, God's whole "Everlasting Gospel" of Revelation 14:6, can be boiled down to the example given by God to Moses, of the story and example of Able's obedience to God and Cain's disobedience and Pride, which lead to the first murder in man's history. This disobedience echoing the disobedience of Eve, to God's "Command" of "Don't eat of the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil" . At this point, The Fall, where mankind came under the condemnation, the knowledge of God's Moral Law.

This whole history of mankind "his-story" has been God. working with mankind,, to bring him back into obedience, so that we can once again be God's children, thru obedience to God's Law, by FAITH, in the example of Jesus' obedience to the foundation of God's Kingdom, the character of "love" and obedience, to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

So ! Very simple ! Here we are today, Satan, his angels and agents, ie, the Antichrist, the RCC in Rome, and the false prophets ( most of the apostate protestant churches), of Revelation 16:13, spewing an exegesis of disobedience, rather than Jesus' Word, the Truth, The Way, to Life, of obedience to God Will, ( As Jesus showed us, by doing and being perfect for our salvation ) *Thank You Jesus* PTL.

I pray you and anyone else supporting apostasy and the exegesis of Satan's disobedience, repent and be baptized for the remission of your sin, your disobedience. Coming over to the winning side in this spiritual battle for the souls of men !!

The main truth that brings people out of apostasy in these last days is the threefold message of Revelation 14: 6-12
  • Worshiping the true God, "obedience" by Love, (not works) and keeping His Sabbath, God's "Mark" of authority, the 7th Day.
  • Recognizing Christ’s intercession in the heavenly sanctuary,
  • Receiving the righteousness of Christ by faith,
  • Obeying God's commandments under the power of the Spirit, ( Obedience, by the Inspiration & Power of His Spirit )
  • Rejecting of the false systems (Babylon) that oppose these truths. Present by the RCC and her apostate Protestant Churches

So you say. Please respond to the points of the post.
Not one time have you addressed any of the points showed in the post. And no You are not reasoning to me you are speaking over me.

For instance you have not addressed the fact that God had made a New Covenant with Israel before they entered into the Promised land. Besides the one he made with them in Horeb. Deut 29:1

I have hoped that you and others would have said, wow that is interesting or showed that that fact is wrong. But nothing but a continuation of speaking as if Israel had only the Covenant at Sinia available to them.

And For instance, you have not addressed the fact that God included in this New Covenant the stranger that is within their Gates and those whom are not with them that day and those the future. For God has said in Deut 29:11,15 and also with him that is not here with us this day: And that my friend would mean that this New Covenant would be with everybody and anybody at anytime. This fact shown in these verses COMPLETLY notifies the naysayers argument that the Gentiles where not considered in the Covenants given to Israel.

I have hoped in prayer for rejoicing in this little tidbit.
But no, not even a recognition. Not even an argument that says, no that is not what it says, Nothing, silence as if the verses are not even there.

And again God has shared In this New Covenant He, the great I AM makes an oath. And this oath He starts to reveal in Deut 30:6. He will circumcise the hearts of the children of Israel and the stranger within the gates and even those whom are not with them. And in this circumcision of the heart, the cutting away of the sins of the flesh, and that we be humbled and no more stiff necked Deut 10:16; Lev 26:41; Col 2:11 Is so that we Love the Lord our God.

And in us who He has made no more stiff necked because of a new heart that has circumcised, the cutting away of sins of the flesh, old man and his ways He has placed His Word that we walk in His way. Deut 30:14

And this Word, this commandment, that we are to hearken, to hear and obey the voice of the Lord our God which He commands us this day. Is The keeping, of the Commandments, the Decalogue and His Statutes contained in the Book of the Law.

This is not hidden that we are to call down from Heaven for it or up from the deep, But the word, the Commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Plain as day, synonymously spoken that the Word His Commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law are in our hearts that we do them. Not the Book of the Law, the Commandments and Statutes contained in it. Not the Judgements, For they are not even mentioned here in respect to that which is placed in our circumcised hearts by God. Just the Commandments and Statutes. Couple this with the fact that Paul paraphrases these very verses in Rom10:6-8. Which should draw the reader of Romans attention back to Deut 29:1-30:14 if they are an avid Bible student. And as they do they would see what the word, the rhema, the voice of the Lord is speaking in our hearts through Christ. And they would see that it is the keeping of the commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law As He has said, Jer 31:33; Heb 8:10 He will put His Law in our hearts and in our minds. Not just the Commandments but the Law, the Commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law.

And again He has said in Ezek 36:26 He will give us a new heart, a new Spirit, His Spirit to cause us to walk in His ways. For we are the Temple of God. His Spirit dwells in us and it is He that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. 2 Cor 6:16,19: Phil2:13

His Word, His Law, and His Spirit. It is all the same. His Word is all He has said, His Spirit is all that He is. His Law is all that He has taught and written. It is all the same. The desire has been placed in our hearts to walk in His way because we are a new creation in and through Christ Jesus.

We know which Commandment, for it is the Decalogue. So they ask which Statutes.
Considering the Judgements are not mentioned we know that ALL that which is written in the Book of the Law that pertains to when we sinned is not included. That would include all the sin offerings, festivals and that which has been written in regard to the service in the sanctuary service since Christ fulfilled those as our High Priest and Sacrifice. Heb 7-10.

We know that the statutes pertaining to how we dress are also fulfilled in Christ because we who have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ and there is neither Jew or Gentile now. We are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.

And we know that what was unclean for us to eat still is because science is screaming it now and the Word of God states that animals are still unclean in Rev 18:2 by saying, every unclean hateful bird. And that those at the end of times who eat the unclean, like eating swine's flesh and the abomination and the mouse shall be consumed.

I am sure you can think of more but I am out of time.

I wanted to get this to you at the very least. I pray this helps you to understand and see.

Please respond to the points of the post
Forgive me Friend... I'm so use to dealing with people like @GWH who are very serious about corrupting the Word of God, to support their Religion of Disobedience, to our Creator God and His Covenants of Obedience, for our salvation, that I just skimmed your post, and at first it sounded like you were reasoning for "Disobedience" so I gave my usual rebuttal .... Sorry ! Let me address your points.

The Origin of the New Covenant

Your post claims: The New Covenant originates in Deuteronomy 29–30, where God made a covenant "besides the Covenant that He made with the children of Israel in Horeb, Mt Sinai" (Deut 29:1). TSo you treat this Moab covenant as the foundational revelation of the New Covenant.
This New Covenant is not a new arrangement originating at Moab. It is the everlasting covenant of grace that began with Adam after the Fall and was renewed to Abraham.
"Though this covenant was made with Adam and renewed to Abraham, it could not be ratified until the death of Christ. It had existed by the promise of God since the first intimation of redemption had been given; it had been accepted by faith; yet when ratified by Christ, it is called a 'new' covenant." EGW - Patriarchs and Prophets, Chapter 32:
The Abrahamic covenant — sealed by the promise "In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed" (Genesis 22:18) — is the covenant of grace. It was ratified by Christ's blood, and therefore called "new." We can not trace the New Covenant's origin to Deuteronomy 29–30. Rather, the Moab covenant as essentially a renewal of the Sinai (old) covenant, not the inauguration of the new.
You are building your entire argument on Deuteronomy 29–30 as the source of the New Covenant, the New Covenant's originated centuries earlier, in Eden and with Abraham.

The Old Covenant vs. New Covenant Framework

You claim Deuteronomy 29:1 introduces a new covenant distinct from the Horeb covenant, and this is the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31 and Hebrews 8.
The "old covenant" is the arrangement made at Sinai where Israel declared, "All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient" (Exodus 24:7). It was a covenant based on human promises — Israel's pledge to obey — which they inevitably broke because of their unregenerate hearts. The "new covenant" is based on God's promisesforgiveness of sins, grace to renew the heart, and the Spirit enabling obedience.

Deuteronomy 29 Moab covenant is part of the old covenant framework — a renewal of the Sinai arrangement — because it still operated under the same system of law and sacrifice. The true New Covenant, could not be established until Christ's death ratified the Abrahamic covenant of grace.

Statutes Continuing Under the New Covenant?

You claim: The New Covenant writes "Commandments and Statutes" on the heart (citing Deut 30:10), but excludes "Judgments" (ceremonial/sacrificial ordinances). You are arguing for a three-part division: Commandments (Decalogue) + Statutes (continuing) + Judgments (abolished).
It's a two-law framework, not a three-part one:
  • The Moral Law (Ten Commandments) — eternal, unchanging, written on the heart under the New Covenant
  • The Ceremonial Law (statutes, ordinances, sacrificial system) — temporary, nailed to the cross at Calvary
We can't separate "statutes" from "judgments" in the way your attempting to. Both statutes and judgments that pertained to the ceremonial/sacrificial system were part of the ceremonial law that ended at the cross. It's not true that "statutes" as a category continue while "judgments" are abolished. You are attempting to retain statutes while discarding judgments creates a distinction.

This is particularly important because you use this distinction to argue that certain statutes (dietary laws, etc.) continue under the New Covenant. Clean/unclean dietary principles continue, but this as a health and moral principle, not as a continuing "statute" from the Book of the Law.

Discrepancy —> The Basis for Gentile Inclusion

You claims: Deuteronomy 29:11, 15 ("also with him that is not here with us this day") is the proof that the New Covenant includes Gentiles, and that this "completely negates the naysayers argument that the Gentiles were not considered in the Covenants given to Israel."

While we agrees that God's covenant was never meant to be ethnically exclusive, ... Gentile inclusion primarily in the Abrahamic covenant, not in Deuteronomy 29. The promise to Abraham — "In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed" (Genesis 22:18) — is the key text for demonstrating that the covenant of grace was always intended for all nations. "This same covenant [the covenant of grace] was renewed to Abraham in the promise 'In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.'"

We Adventists understand Deuteronomy 29:15 as referring to future generations of Israelites, not primarily to Gentiles. The phrase "him that is not here with us this day" referred to Israel's descendants who were not yet born — the covenant was made with the nation across generations. While strangers were included in the covenant community (as the text correctly notes from Deut 29:11), This primary argument for universal inclusion comes through the Abrahamic promise, not through the Moab covenant.

This is not necessarily a contradiction as we reach the same conclusion (Gentiles are included) — but arrive there by different routes, and you overstates the significance of Deuteronomy 29:15 as a prooftext for Gentile inclusion.

Discrepancy — "His Word, His Law, and His Spirit — It Is All the Same"

You claim: "His Word is all He has said, His Spirit is all that He is. His Law is all that He has taught and written. It is all the same."

There is close relationships between Word, Law, and Spirit, BUT ! ... there is a clear functional distinctions between them:
  • The Law (Ten Commandments) is the standard of righteousness — the reflection of God's character
  • The Spirit is the divine agent that empowers obedience and transforms the heart
  • The Word is the revelation of God's will through Scripture
You can not collapse these into one undifferentiated concept. For example, ... the Spirit enables us to keep the law, but the Spirit is not the law itself. The law reveals God's character; the Spirit empowers us to conform to it. Conflating these categories risks confusion about the distinct roles each plays in the believer's experience.

Where we Agree;

It's worth noting several points where we are in agreement.

  • The Ten Commandments (Decalogue) continue under the New Covenant as God's moral standard
  • The ceremonial/sacrificial system (judgments/ordinances) was abolished by Christ's sacrifice
  • The New Covenant involves God's Law written on the heart
  • Heart circumcision and the work of the Spirit enable obedience
  • Clean/unclean food distinctions remain relevant (though we arrive at this by different reasoning)
  • Strangers/Gentiles were included in God's covenant purposes
Summary ~> The most significant differences center on where the New Covenant originates (Deuteronomy 29 vs. the Abrahamic/Edenic covenant of grace), how the laws are categorized (three-part vs. two-law framework), and whether statutes as a category continue under the New Covenant.

Again ! I apologies for "assuming" that you were a typical apostate Protestant Christian, supporting their Religion of Disobedience, of the Antichrist spirit, in this Worlds Last Days, right before Christ emanate Return. Maranatha !

Absolutely, to be honest I appreciate your candor, though I must mention we need to be cautious when pronouncing such strong words. Especially when they are pronounced in this venue. These words must be spoken in and THROUGH love; even to those to whom we know are living and teaching in and through apostacy.

It is hard to display love with mere words on a screen.

You call me friend, and friends we are, for we are brothers.

By the looks of your reply I must say I would love to sit and have bible study with you. So much more is established in person together in prayer. To many just parrot what others say feeding off their studies and have never actually studied the Bible on their own in prayer.

I live in central Alabama. Maybe we can meet up.

Finally someone is taking time to reply to the points of the post. We, including I at times have a tendency of speaking over people rather than actually addressing what people say.

No, never said originates. I was being accused of saying that I was sharing a renewed covenant. As in the New Covenant was nothing more than the Old being renewed. This is what was said in it's original context in the initial post to which you responded in which was my response to that,
"Never said it was a renewed covenant.

God said it was His Law that is to be in our heart. Jer 31:33; Heb 8:10.

That can be confusing for some and He knew it.

Why? Because some would cry what Law!

Others would say like @Sabbathblessings and @Vassel the answer to that question is the Ten Commandments.

And yet some would also say it is just the commandments repeated in the NT.

And even sadder some would say just love.

That is why God said what Laws beforehand in Deut 29:1- 30:14 There He said He shall make a New Covenant with the children of Israel before they entered into the promised land. He said besides the Covenant that He made with the children of Israel in Horeb, Mt Sinia. Deut 29:1. And God said in this Covenant He shall make an oath."

Never said that the Covenant originates in Moab, only that God had said He shall make a new covenant with Israel, the stranger that was within their gates and also those who were not with them that day.

We will respond to the rest of your post as God allows. Prayerfully tonight. Right now I must start my day my brother.

Pray, pray and pray some more.
Have a blessed day

Yes ! I am prone to not pay much attention to the specifics of what someone says, as soon as I realize they are coming from a position of disobedience and rebellion to God, as in having "the spirit of Satan", yet claiming to be Christian, pretending tobe a believer & follower of Jesus... Commonly referred to as the varying degrees of "Apostate Protestantism" or dispensationalism, this whole "Futuristic" understanding of God's Gospel. with 40+ thousand different denominational understandings of Truth.

There is only One Truth, One Way, to the One eternal Life, by Grace thru Faith in Christ, Gal 2:20, ...

SO ! 39,999+ must be "confusion" ... the way of Satan... and I continually pray that WE come to know the difference. = Sanctification !

There are as many different ways of claiming Righteousness in Christ, without actually representing or having the "Fruits" of the Spirit, as there are different peoples, as I am just one more example of the "ol' Wretched Man that I am". While becoming familiar with The Way, The Truth, The Life, yet still praying for repentance & deliverance from my sin, self-righteousness and hypocrisy. "I Pray !"

So Yes ! I would love to have a friend, as I've lived alone, ( with 2 dogs, 8 hens, a roo and a CAT ) back in these old woods, here in Middle-TN, these 5 yrs since the Mrs past away. Interestingly, I didn't REALLY come to know Jesus, till she passed after being invalid for 15 years, as she was my world, even though we had been Adventist for 25 years, knowing the Truth of proper Bible Prophecy interpretation, and having become familiar with the Spirit of Prophecy. Revelation 19:10
Knowing The Truth and living The Way, are most often two different "paths" in our walks of life.
So ... Friend ! ...
"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3
We shall see ... ;-)

It is sad but so many christian people claim that "we are under the New covenant" and use this as an excuse to forsake the 10 commandments.

One of the best studies I did in relation to this, was to study the difference between the 10 commandments and the cerimonial laws.

There is lots to learn if you are willing.

We know that killing and Adultery and stealing is a sin today, so these laws are still in place...

But remember the cerimonial laws are also called the law, and this is where people get mixed up. What is written in the following verses is about the law or ordinances, the cerimonial laws...

Gal 3:17-26
17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. 19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

The promise given was Jesus
Till the seed should come, the law would end. which law? Keep reading.

20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Which law was the schoolmaster? The cerimonial law. It was there to point to Jesus and help people to have faith in a comming Messiah.

The cerimonial law no longer applies today so this law is definitely the ceremonial law not the 10 commandments...

Prophecy foretold when these laws would end ....

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, ...

In the days after Jesus there was a lot of tension and disagreement about the cerimonial laws. Be careful that you don't apply the verses to the wrong law.

Jas 2:10-12
10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

The 10 commandments apply today.

how do you add law because of transgressions?? if there were no law then transgressions are not possible.

What was added to the Torah was the Sacrificial Law, and this law pointed to the need for the death of Jesus Christ to pay for our sins against God. The sacrificial law was the schoolmaster leading us to the sacrifice of Christ.

When Christ died He fulfilled the purpose of the Sacrificial law which is to show mankind, sin, transgression of the Torah, demands death.
and unless Christ died and rose from death not one person would ever live again.

there is no way to escape the penalty of death for sin, it will be paid either by each person or by Christ.

Brother, @Qt ... Concerning "our covenant relationship"

You'll notice that I reference Galatians 2:20 quite often. I understand it to be foundational to our understanding of how we are salvationally obligated in maintaining our covenantal relationship of obedience to God.

The rendering of Galatians 2:20 in modern bible translations, is a good example of Satan's methods of deception and devices in corrupting our understanding God's Gospel Plan, helping to create those 40,000+ different understanding of the Gospel. = "confusion" of 1 Corinthians 14:33

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith OF the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 KJV

The Faith IN Jesus, is OUR Faith, rather than Jesus' PERFECTlY OBEDIENT" Faith ....

The Faith OF Jesus is Jesus' Faith, AND OBEDIENCE, to His Father's "covenant promises". Just as we are to have Faith and obedience as the Faith of Jesus, dwelling IN us, per Gal. 2:20, with Jesus keeping His Father's Covenant Commandments, .... Perfectly !
"All that the LORD has spoken we will do" Exodus 19:8, 24:3.

The “faith of Jesus” is distinct from human faith. It is not merely trust in God but Jesus’ own active, obedient faith in the covenant promises of His Father, enabling Him to fulfill what Israel could not. This obedience is central to His mediatorial work and covenant fulfillment.

"Faith of Jesus" Defined;

  • Hebrews 12:2 – Jesus “for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
  • Romans 3:25-26 – His obedience vindicates God’s justice and fulfills the requirements of the law.
  • Definition: The “faith of Jesus” is His faithful adherence to the covenant requirements, obeying perfectly the law of God as humanity was called to, but failed to do.
“Christ’s obedience was the obedience of faith. He trusted in His Father’s promises and fulfilled every requirement of the law, accomplishing what Israel could not. The law demanded perfect obedience; man failed; Christ obeyed.” (Desire of Ages, Ch. 19).

2. Jesus Fulfilling the Covenant Israel Could Not

  • Romans 5:19 – “By the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
  • Galatians 4:4-5 – God sent His Son to redeem us under the law.
  • Connection: Israel was unable to perfectly keep the covenant at Sinai ( Deuteronomy 30:15-18 ), showing human inability. Jesus, by His faith in the Father’s covenant promises, perfectly obeyed the law, fulfilling the covenant requirement on behalf of humanity.
“The law could not be satisfied by the obedience of fallen men; Christ alone could obey it perfectly. The obedience of Jesus was the condition upon which salvation would be secured for all who believe.” (Great Controversy, Ch. 25).

3. Daniel 9:24 and Covenant Fulfillment

  • Daniel 9:24 – “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people… to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
  • Interpretation: Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection fulfilled the covenant promises, bringing everlasting righteousness to humanity. His perfect obedience, the faithfulness of the covenant, is what secures this fulfillment.
Connection:
  • Jesus’ faith in God’s covenant promises was active obedience: He submitted fully to the Father’s will ( John 4:34; Luke 22:42 ).
  • His perfect obedience achieves what Israel could not: eternal righteousness for God’s people.
  • The “faith of Jesus” as His perfect trust in the Father’s covenant and His active obedience.
  • Romans 3:21-26, Galatians 3:13-14, and Hebrews 9:11-15 are key texts: Christ obeyed the law, satisfied justice, and redeemed covenant humanity.
  • Faith in Jesus is relational and covenantal—believers enter the same faith He exercised by trusting in God’s promises, Romans 1:17; Galatians 2:20.

Summary

  1. The faith of Jesus = His perfect, active trust in the Father’s covenant promises.
  2. Purpose: Fulfill the covenant law Israel failed to obey.
  3. Means: Perfect obedience, culminating in His sacrifice.
  4. Scriptural support: Romans 5:19; Galatians 4:4-5; Daniel 9:24; Hebrews 12:2.
  5. Jesus’ obedience manifests the covenant faithfulness of God and secures salvation for all who believe, showing the transformative power of covenant faith in history and prophecy.

To those of you who say, "Jesus keep the Covenant, ( The Commandments ), so now we don't have to" ...

OR
... ( As Catholics claim ) ... I accept the merits, the "good works" of Jesus, Mother Mary, or any of the Saints in heaven as compensation for my sinfulness. Or let me buy $$ ( from the Papacy ) an "indulgence", for my sinfulness.
Or "I am saved by Grace Alone" and now I'm "Once Saved Always Saved"
OR any of the OTHER 39,999+ WAYS of presuming to have salvation, without ...
Having the Holy Spirit imputed, "faith OF Jesus" and His Righteousness, His "right-doing" of The Father's Character, His LAW.

Galatians 2:20 KJV

"imitating the "faith OF Jesus" ... The righteousness of Christ imputed to believers, keeping the Father's Moral Law, particularly the TEN ! ( including the 4th ) ...

In other words, to reflect the imputed, Son of God, in us Gal 2:20
, exercising covenant obedience through trust, love, and action. Just as Jesus faithfully fulfilled the Father’s covenant, believers are to yield themselves wholly to God, obeying His commandments and depending on His grace.

I hope Y'all can understand, why the Papacy, The anti-Christ, ( as Bible Prophecy declares, and as realized and pointed out by ALL the Classic Protestant Reformers ) through the RCC's spiritual military order, the Jesuits, would go to such lengths, these last 182 years, through their many secret societies, to corrupt the understanding of the KJV Bible, God's "Authorized" Bible, by producing many of these "Modern Translations" to achieve the agenda of the Antichrist, to confuse, misdirect, corrupt and deceive many (most ) away from the Truth of God's Word and Plan of Salvation. Satan has very well achieved his goal of being worshiped, being "the god of this world" 2 Corinthians 4:4

Satan has many here in this forums believing him, ... follow him through his anti-Christ agent, "The Whore of Babylon's" with her self acclaimed, MARK of her authority. As the RCC herself says;

“Prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the Catholic Church alone. The Catholic Church says, by my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week. And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the Holy Catholic Church” (Thomas Enright, CSSR, President, Redemptorist College [Roman Catholic], Kansas City, MO, Feb. 18, 1884).
When world governments make Sunday Religious observance, the law of the land, ( as the world, by the Papacy is advocating for NOW ) in direct opposition to God's Authority and Law, of the 7th Day Sabbath commandment, God's "sign' / "mark" of HIS AUTHORITY, ~~ ... When the World Legislates SIN ... This is the Mark of Satan's ( god of this world ) authority, 2 Cor. 4:4. The Mark of The Beast !

Remember ! Pres. Joe Bidon saying " The Pope was the "moral authority of the world" and Pres. George Bush II, saying, when an interviewer asked, what he seen when he looked into Pope Benedict's eyes? Bush replied.. " GOD ! " = Blasphemy !!
Blasphemy !! is as the Popes considering themselves, and stating that "THEY ARE GOD ON EARTH" <~~ Blasphemy !! = Anti-christ !!

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, (image = Vatacan = church + state. The Mark = Sunday Worship, "in the hand" to go alone to get along or "in the head" actually believing it's the Lord's Day )
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest
( No Sabbath ) day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Revelation 14: 9-11 KJV
So ! When you pick up a Bible version, that you are not familiar with... Go to to Revelation 14:12, ( or Gal 2:20, etc ) where Jesus describes the characteristics His End Times "Remnant Church" His Body on Earth, "the Saints"...

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. KJV
12 Here is endurance of the saints: here are those keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus.' YLT
12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are the ones keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus. LITV
( AKJV, BSB, Webster, Murdock, etc....)

12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus. NIV
12 ...
God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus. NLT

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. NKJV ( Etc. Etc )
This really is a "Battle of the Bibles," between Satan and his anti-Christ and God and His Holy Spirit.

"Faith of Jesus" Defined;

2. Jesus Fulfilling the Covenant Israel Could Not

  • Romans 5:19 – “By the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

Wrong. It’s simply a difference in usage, not in meaning. “The faith of Jesus Christ” distinguishes it from faith in any other entity or no faith at all. There is consistent evidence in the New Testament that our faith, though it is a gift from God, is what makes the difference. Jesus had no need to exercise faith (certainty in the unseen) because He is God and did see.

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Here the distinction is maintained that believing "in" Jesus we are justified by the faith "of" Jesus.

"the faith of Jesus Christ" is translated from the Genetive case used, denoting origin or possession, that is, the faith that is possessed by Jesus Christ, or the faith that comes from Jesus Christ, which to me is saying the same thing. His faith given to us that we may be saved.

Much love!

The Bible does present the Ten Commandments as the covenant itself. In Exodus 34:28, it is written:

"So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments."

"So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone
(Deuteronomy 4:13, NKJV)

This clearly states that the Ten Commandments are the covenant. When we look at Jeremiah 31:31-33, we see God speaking of a new covenant, but notice what He says:

"Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.
But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

This passage does not say the law itself would change. Instead, it tells us that the ten commandments that are the covenant instead of being written on stone tablets, would be written in our hearts and minds. That means the law remains the same, but its place changes, from external tablets to internal conviction. This is why we see in the Gospels of John, Matthew, Luke and Mark, Jesus teaching the commandments and magnifying them.

Now, let's connect this with the Ark of the Covenant. In Deuteronomy 10:1-5, God commanded Moses to place the two tablets of the Ten Commandments inside the Ark:

"At that time the Lord said to me, ‘Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain, and make yourself an ark of wood... Then I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are, just as the Lord commanded me.’"

This shows the special place of the Ten Commandments, inside the Ark, symbolizing their central role in the covenant. But what about the rest of the law? In Deuteronomy 31:24-26, Moses wrote the book of the law and placed it beside the Ark:

"So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: ‘Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there as a witness against you.’”

This distinction is important. The Ten Commandments being described clearly as the Covenant were placed inside the Ark of the Covenant, showing their eternal, unchanging nature as the foundation of the covenant. The rest of the law was placed beside the Ark, acting as a witness.

Now, when Jeremiah speaks of the law being written in our hearts, he is speaking of the same law, the Ten Commandments. The "new" part of the covenant is not that the law changes but that God Himself ensures it is within us, guiding us from within rather than being an external set of rules. This aligns perfectly with how Jesus upheld and fulfilled the law, always pointing back to love for God and neighbor as the foundation of obedience (Matthew 22:36-40).

So, the New Covenant is not about replacing the Ten Commandments but about making them part of who we are.

Blessings

o Yes !
So ... Friend ! ...

My condolences. I can't imagine what it is like for you. My wife and I are going on 26 years. She had surgery yesterday on her sinuses. She is fine but When they called me back for the Doctor's consult the nurse's demeanor was off so I got a bit anxious thinking the worst as I was waiting for the Doctor. Times like that are quit revealing.

Sorry for the delay friend. I actually started my response to you a while ago but keep getting distracted by other pressing issues here.

To have the testimony of Jesus we must have the faith of Jesus which can only come through the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of prophecy. For it is He that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. As Jesus said, the Father doeth the work.

You are bit far by quit a few hours. For us to meet up for Bible study would be an issue on a continual basis.

Because this site desires money to be paid out for us to have private conversation I am going to put my self out there by providing my number. I pray no one does ill with it. 256-252-2329.

Call if you wish. I am actually giving anyone permission that wishes to pray and or talk.

God is Love.

LOVE
= love God and love your neighbour

= The 10 commandments.
the first 4 are how we LOVE God
the next 6 are how we LOVE our neighbor.

= Jesus broadened it even more by helping us understand that it is even in our thoughts.. Isa 42:21 ... He will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Jesus magnified the law by revealing its spiritual depth, demonstrating its immutability through His death, and providing a perfect example of obedience in His own life.
He did not come to abolish the law, but to vindicate its claims and show that it reaches to the very thoughts and intents of the heart Matthew 5:17-18.

Therefore all things whatever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12

I delight to do your will, O my God: yes, your law is within my heart. Psalms 40:8

If God's LOVE is in you, you will fulfill the 10 commandments naturally.

When you say Yahshua shorten the Decalogue that is a whole lot of adding. Hangeth is not shortening.

Here below is the Greek word defined in Thayer's Lexicon translated hangeth in the version you used.

If something is hanging on something else it is depending on it for support. In other words The commandments depend on loves support.

Original: κρεμάννυμι
- Transliteration: Kremannumi
- Phonetic: krem-an'-noo-mee
- Definition:
1. to hang up, suspend
2. to be suspended, to hang
a. used of one hanging on a cross
b. used of the Law and the Prophets, they is summed up or hanging on two precepts
