So your saying that we need more than GOD'S word to figure out GOD'S word?

Just as JESUS told HIS disciples not to go out without the Holy Ghost neither should we.

So FYI, I shared how to be reborn. Acts 2:38

Alos included with how to be reborn was an example of receiving the Holy Ghost.

As JESUS said we need both to Enter.

I'm confused why you don't know what we have to do to be reborn.

Acts is the building of the church, it has all we need to know in that book.

Have YOU received the Holy GHost since you have believed?

How were YOU baptized?

Sorry, you are asking me personal questions that I do not see any benefit in answering. Now Paul tells us that everything that can be known of God can be known from creation. Are you claiming that Paul is wrong? And if Paul is not wrong, why do you object to my looking everywhere that knowledge of God is available?

Another question is whether or not the Book of Acts is truthful or if it was intentionally written to conceal things from the Romans, perhaps things that could have caused great harm to the church in its early days, perhaps not deemed safe to reveal until the 5th or 6th centuries and then determining that their revelation was a mistake and hiding them again for a couple more centuries, then getting them caught up in church politics resulting in a third session of hiding them.

But such actions would leave trails of evidence if one looked. Perhaps coins, statues, references in obscure works, etc. that would be difficult to find and contradict the official version of history.

Nah, the church is so perfect, totally unified, not a bunch of different denominations, never any scandals or interest in politics, would not even think about associating with a political movement either liberal or conservative, no indication anywhere in the NT of issues anywhere, so they wouldn't have anything to hide something would they, right?

Of course, if the church of today does not fit this perfection, what reason do we have to believe the church of former years did? And if there is reason to suspect that the ancient church might have been less than perfect, what is the problem in looking for evidence

So you don't know what we have to do to be saved.

And asking you that is a personl question???

When JESUS moves on us it's about HIM not US, HE is the one who gets the glory.

You don't trust or believe HIS word to be true.

But you believe the church.

Did I get all of that right?

What church are you referring to that you trust your eternity to?

Tomato, tamato.

Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit.

The most important thing is JESUS filling us with HIS spirit or Ghost what ever you want to call it as long as he fills us.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

People do all kinds of things to make them feel good, I know the trinity or there gods are not bible or true.

There is ONLY ONE GOD.

Given that I have responded to some of your questions, notably about salvation, and the believer's relation to God, it would seem that you do not understand English. Might you be more comfortable in Biblical Greek or Hebrew, or perhaps German or French? But then maybe Russian or Mandarin Chinese? Otherwise, read what I say and please stop trying to play some version of "gotcha" because I do not respond in your preferred fashion. When or how I came to believe, or what church I associate with are all personal questions.

And "NO", all you seem to be willing to accept is a distortion of what I am saying.

Fyi,

Holy Spirit mentioned 7 times OT and NT.

Holy Ghost, 90 times NT only.

Did you? Was it to me?

I didn't see them.

I asked you to explain Acts 2:38 and 22:16, nothing.

I asked you what we have to do to be reborn, nothing.

I asked you have you received the holy GHost since you believed, nothing.

I asked you how were you baptized, nothing.

I asked you what church you put your faith in more that GOD'S word, nothing.

Was there more?

But you talk about other sfuff, deflecting.

Your the one who started this with this statement, why don't you back it up with HIS word.

"Sin cannot enter heaven, but the only way to get rid of sin is through the action of God completely eradicating it from us, and that cannot happen while we are still physical beings."

Nope, you just deflect.
