Anyway, I do thank God everyday for Jesus. I know we have to believe in Him! He also said to obey His commandments, and that is the part I need to learn about. We can't use the calender I've always used though, it's manmade like Christmas.

Jesus was teaching his disciples in Matthew chapter 5 in verse 17 - Do not think that I came to destroy the law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 - For assuredly, I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
When Jesus died on the cross the sacrificial law was fulfilled - the sacrifice of animals was a shadow of the sacrifice of Jesus but in verse 18 He is saying until heaven and earth pass away not one jot or tittle will change until all is fulfilled and not all is fulfilled because Jesus has not come and put an end to this wicked world yet. So as I read this scripture the law still stand even in the New Testament. And because Jesus came and died for us He has written His law on our hearts because we do live by grace because Jesus died for us. I accept Jesus perfect sacrifice for my sins and God sees Jesus perfect life instead of my sinful life. How grateful I am to God I don't have words to express my joy for His salvation through His Son. I can only praise Him for this free gift of salvation. I can't work my way into heaven Jesus has paid the price for me and I accept.
Then we have Colossians 2:16 which says let no one judge you in meat or drink, feast day, new moon or aSabbath days. (plural) All these things just mentioned are called the ordinances that were practiced for sin, which is breaking one of the Ten Commandments of which the Lord's Sabbath is one.
It is NOT a sacrificial law and was NOT written in the sacrificial law and was NEVER practiced when one sinned. But everything in Colossians 2:16 was practiced before the cross when one sinned. Besides these facts, Paul says in Colossians 2:14 that what is in verse 16 are the ordinances.
The Strong's and Thayer dictionaries also inform us that the ordinances are the sacrificial law of Moses. You cannot take one of the Ten Commandments which God wrote in stone and say that it belongs to the Mosaic Law which was written on paper and was for sacrifices when one sinned. Thou shalt not murder and shedding the blood of a lamb are NOT the same thing!

We have to keep in mind that the law was still in effect until Christ died on the Cross. (Even the Lord Jesus kept the law in those days with a few exceptions, only in order to make a point - usually for compassion). After that (His death and resurrection), remember? He said He would send a Helper - the Holy Spirit. We now, are to live by the witness in our spirit as to what the leading of the Holy Spirit is; not continue to live by the law. It is the Holy Spirit that renews our thinking, renews our minds i.e. "I will put my laws in their hearts and minds." In other words, after Christ on the cross, it is no good to try to follow the law by our own will to do so. Something automatically starts to change us from within. Our human spirit has been renewed by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord!
But 'the law' remains holy and righteous for the sake of the unbeliever and forever for us because it has been wrought into us.

Genesis 2:1 - Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them. were finishes. 2 - And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 - Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Exodus 20:8-11 REMEMBER the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
The Sabbath day was a celebration at the end of creation and was written in stone by God's own finger on Mt. Sinai - the law was written to show us what sin is. Jesus is the only way to God and by accepting His sacrifice is our salvation. Jesus fulfilled the sacrificial laws and in Matthew 5 He tells us the came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it and not one jot or tittle will change from the law until all is fulfilled.

Read these three, then explain to me how we are justified by living by the law:
"But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones (the Ten Commandments) was glorious, - - , which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness (in Him) exceeds much more in glory." 2 Cor. 3.

I see that you are 25 - you may or may not have children. If you were or are a father and you had a child that made a BIG mistake and chose a life that was opposite of your life - Are you telling me that you would hate that child? God created Lucifer and he was an angel in charge of the angels in heaven. Lucifer had a very high position but his pride and beauty made him want more. Lucifer wanted to be equal to God and more. God loves His created beings even us because the Bible says that while we were yet sinners God sent His Son to die for us..
So I guess I am an alien too because I believe that God loves Lucifer/Satan but does not love what Satan does or what Satan has turned into. I believe it breaks God's heart seeing an angel He created hating Him(God) for no good reason. When it comes time for God to destroy Satan I believe God will feel pain and loss just as a parent would feel loss of one of their children. I for one will be glad when Satan is gone because sin and death and this wicked world will be done away with and we will be back in communion with God face to face as Adam and Eve were in the garden of Eden. I long to walk with Jesus and tell Him how grateful I am and how much I love Him for the sacrifice He made so I and others could be saved.

Matthew 5: 44 But I say to you love your enemies - Why would Jesus tell us to do something that He would not do Himself?

Matthew 7:11 & Luke 11:13 If you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children - Such as in loving our children example as God loving His children.
I did not write out the whole texts - you can look them up and read for yourself. If you have made up your mind that God hates Satan there is not going to be much I can say to change it. But we can agree to disagree and it won't hurt my feelings. I just believe that God is a God of love and it is what His government is founded on because John 3:16 tells me how much God loves me and the world. I just imagine that He loved His created beings in heaven too.
