Indeed, and that's why it's better for them to be our friend than to hate us for vain and imagined reasons and bed around with the Devil's communists from the Old World, besides you know getting eternally damned to hellfire forjust being an atheist,, it's just smarter in even a pragmatic secular sense. They have a lot of a key resource and great gographical location and great culture (before filthy commie Boomers ruined it), but its also a big challenge resource that really only America is good at refining and fixing. On top of this the old overturned corrupt misruler Maduro like basically destroyed his oil industry through corruption and neglect and cutting corners. I spoke about this before, it's he did hard damage not just to the vague nebulous "coporations" like their propaganda tells them to think in their head, he did hard damage to the environment and to the industry itself. This is a big reason he had to go, besides a litany against his apostasies and general sheer ineptitude that so often follows the evil communists around like a black cloud over their head. The vast majority of Venezuelan crude is Merey16 extra heavy sour which is notoriously expensive to turn into fuel. It's only worth about 45-50 USD a barrel because of how thick it is and how expensive it is to refine. Think more in terms of asphalt highway instead of cheap gas. A picture of this stuff is worth a thousand words so take a good look at the photo of it going into a glass jar and you will understand why none of the US oil companies were rushing to get oil from Venezuela. You buy crude oil from different places to make different products out of which is why extra heavy sour Mersey16 crude will never end up giving US citizens cheap gasoline. https://www.shale24.com/en/oil-and-...d-the-role-iran-plays-in-the-value-chain-n363 View attachment 290140
It's interesting too then in how Delcy Rodriguez has risen to the occasion, she's actually becoming a pretty good leader in a fair view. She's blitzing the foreign scene now with America as her friend, not adversary, and this is way ahead of expectations, shes' repairing the very damaged foreign policy image of her predecessors both Maduro and Chavez very quickly, again not just with US, but really all over the place too. Venezuela still must have its first free and fair democratic elections for their first time ever in the 21st century, but now they have two positive and solid choices, both Delcy and Machado are well positioed as both opponents, but also potential cooperation after elections. Things look positive here, may the free Christian nations of the Western hemisphere continue to be blessed, praise Jesus.
