Tonight was thanks giving and my cousin Carrie came to Michigan for the holiday from California. It was great seeing her and a memorie from when we were youths came up. When I was growing up my parents owened a camper and we camped all over Michigan. On one trip we took my cousin Carrie and we both slept on the top bunk in the camper.One night I had a dream I was back in school and the teacher had left the class room and some of the students were walking around the class room. Then I heard the teacher was comming so I tried to get back to my seat. I boy was blocking me from getting back to my desk so I pulled his hair. The next thing I know my cousin wakes me up yelling "Ouch! Somebody pulled my hair!"LOL
Has any thing funny ever happened in your sleep or did you see somebody do something funny while watching them sleep?
 
When my son was in grade school, I heard someone go out the front door in the middle of the night. I went to check it out and saw him standing on the front porch in his pajamas, asleep. I wasn't sure what to do. I didn't want to scare him, so I started softly saying his name until opened his eyes and looked at me. I told him he should go back to bed. He never said a word, he just turned around and went back to bed. He didn't even remember it the next morning. It never happened again as far as I know.

For his 6th birthday, we had a pool party and what was supposed to be a campout at our house. It ended up raining, so the boys camped out in the livingroom. One of the little boys got homesick, started crying and wanted to go home in the middle of the night, but agreed to stay if I would sleep in a chair in the livingroom while they slept on the floor. The next morning I was awakened by 10 little boys having a gas passing contest in my livingroom.

One of my dogs barks and cries in his sleep. He's obviously dreaming. I've watched him. It's very strange.
 
I don't remember, but my mom says that when I was little I got "into" the fridge, carrying my pillow and thinking it was the bathroom.
 
Hi Catwoman & others. Hope your'e well & looking forward to a peaceful, restful weekend.

More often than not I'm having seizures in my sleep. I don't know much about anything as I'm usually unconscious! However it is pretty stressful for my wife as she counts the minutes of unconsciousness before pumping the rescue medication into me.

Then if that don't work she has my 40 minutes "Golden Time" to get me to hospital before "brain rot" sets in - (Some would argue that it's been set in for years!).

But this is the time she calls the police as they get here faster than an ambo. That's the beauty of living in a rural back of beyond where we all know each other.Lost count of the number of times I've been dragged, kicking & screaming to be thrown onto the back seat of a police car which then hares off down the track with "blues & twos" going full blast. At first the neighbours thought a right villain had moved into town!

But the perverted outcome is that the aftermath of a Sz is one of the most calm & restful experiences you can get (though I wouldn't recommend it!).

Not to derail the thread or anything, but what is the reason for your seizures? Illness? Injury? Pretty scary stuff :(

We should all pray for you about this.

Oh the joys of being a juvenile male.

I thought all dogs did that.
 
When I was about 12, I was at summer camp with several of my friends...

I've always been a fairly light sleeper, or at least, someone who often wakes up at odd times when everyone else is sleeping. I decided to turn this into a little experiment... and took pictures of all my sleeping friends, being sure to capture all the ugliest details--the slack jaws, the rolled-back heads, the ominous puddles of drool.

All I can say is... they were NOT happy when I brought the developed pictures (this was in the days of good old-fashioned FILM) to school and offered to pass them around! :D (No, I didn't actually pass them around. The only ones who ever got to see them were the ones who had actually been there.)
 
When I was in elementary school before fourth grade, one of my older friends (now he's 25?) stubbed his toe in his sleep on a leg of my mothers klavier. I saw him do it, but had not seen his feet. He told each of us that morning all about how he woke up to a stubbed toe.

When I was 15, I went to sleep in my bed, and woke up in front of my high school...on a Saturday, in January in Michigan. I was a little chilly. I have never sleptwalked before or since then. Maybe I was abducted by aliens that forgot where my house was at.....

Wow... as if it wasn't bad enough that aliens kidnap humans and perform experiments on them... Now they pick you up and drop you off at your own high school??? Surely this is an experiment in sheer terror! :)
 
Go to sleep in prayer position!!! LOL!!! I've done this... It's rather comfortable, I'd say...THough it may not look like so to others and a little weird... And don't ask why I did it, it just happended!!! LOL!!! :DD!!!
 
Okay...so...am I the only person who regularly falls asleep in the bathroom? :confused:

I've fallen asleep while driving (I don't recommend this), in church, at work (security working nights), the movie theater (missed most of a good movie), but I don't believe I've ever fallen asleep in the can.
