By Ignoring the Truth in the words of God could not mean to escape the damnation.

MATTHEW 23:33
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

What we need is to come to the Living Christ Jesus, and then listen to Him on what we must follow and put into practice until then end for us to be saved always. Reading and believing from do not save, but coming to and following Jesus is the one that will save us always.

What we need is to come to the Living Christ Jesus, and then listen to Him on what we must follow and put into practice until then end for us to be saved always. Reading and believing from do not save, but coming to and following Jesus is the one that will save us always.

This is very True.
1. We need is to come to the living Jesus.
Living Jesus means he lives in our generation today. He is there if you want to have wisdom in the words of God (James 1:5-8) He is here to answers all question. In his way.

2. We must Listen to him and follow him.
We must listen to him when Our Lord Jesus said The First all of the Commandments is HEAR O ISRAEL THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD.
We must follow him in his 2nd Role as Son of the Living God because he served as model and we must follow his steps (1 Peter 2:21)

3. Reading and Believing is not the basis to Salvation. It is on how you follow what Jesus said (Luke 11:28).

We get saved if we follow Jesus according to revelation of Jesus and not according to explanation of Man.

That is not the basis for salvation. You omitted the key verse to understanding the passage. Jesus was referring to the nations and the way they treat God's people. People are not made righteous because they behave righteously. They behave righteously because they are in Christ.

Try reading the rest of the NT to find out what true salvation is. We are saved by grace, not by works.

Amen!!!!

It seems that there are other verses that stating on how do we save..
Let us read what Our Lord said in this verse and connect what Our Lord said in Matthew 25:33-40
EPHESIANS 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

It says by grace we save through faith and faith is a gift of God.

To whom God give his gift (faith)?

We know that God doesn't give the gift of faith to everybody.

In the New Testament God gave his gift to the Apostles & Disciples.

The Scribes & Pharisees were preaching the words of God to the Jews.
How come God did not give a gift of faith to the Scribes & Pharisees?

When Our Lord Jesus reveal to us the reason why. Then it will be revealed to us who are the people today received the gift of faith.

It seems that there are other verses that stating on how do we save..

Your command of English has failed you. We do not save; rather, Jesus saves us. We ARE saved by faith in Jesus. It’s a matter of grammar, but in this case grammar matters.

One of the greatest places to start is Matthew Chapters 5-7 which Jesus lays out fundamental principles that can take a life time to work on, which is all for self improvement. For example, lets say you pray 1x a week, so try to move it to 2x in a healthy pace and have more details and specifications for what you are praying for and soon G-d will open your heart and you will begin to feel what you are saying in your heart which will push you further. But never let setbacks cut you short, setbacks should only strengthen you and remind you that you are human and that Jesus is the one that does the work through you.

Who can fulfill them completely?

MATTHEW 25:35-39
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

At what point in the process you describe is the ‘believer’ saved? When is he transferred from darkness to light?
Acts 26:28 -to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

The sheep were saved by Our Lord Jesus because they fulfilled these commandments completely.

Who are following these verses 35 & 36 completely?

Those people proclaiming that they are saved, they must obeying these commandments completely.

Who can tell that he or she is doing this completely?

Do you claim to have obeyed ALL of God's commandments 100% of the time? Do you claim to be sinless, without fault or defect, flawless 24/7 exactly like Jesus Christ? Be honest. (1 John 1:8-10)

After a casual reading of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46), these verses "on the surface" may seem to suggest that salvation is the result of good works. Yet scripture proves itself right and non-contradictory when compared with the totality of scripture. This passage has to be taken alongside the whole of scripture. Jesus was not advocating salvation by works. That would be contrary to Romans 4:4-6; Ephesians 2:8,9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 3:5 etc... One's works are an effect of (and therefore indication of) one's salvation status, rather than being a cause of one's salvation. This is not performance-based salvation, but salvation-based performance.

The good deeds mentioned in Matthew 25:35-36 is the fruit that will be manifest in the lives of the sheep. Those who are placed at Christ's right hand are not there based on the merits of their good deeds, but because of the imputed righteousness of God which is by faith. (Romans 4:2-6; Philippians 3:9) When works are mentioned in connection with salvation, the works are always the result of, not the condition of, receiving salvation. The stress is on works as a manifestation of one's faith (or lack thereof) and not simply on faith from which these works follow. So it is understandable that in this context, Matthew would stress the works done in love (faith works through love - Galatians 5:6) which are a manifestation of faith which is descriptive of the one who receives eternal life.

Just as we see in Romans 2:6-10. Patient continuance in well doing, seeking for glory, honor, and immortality; (vs. 7) is not at all set forth as the means of their procuring eternal life, but as a description of those to whom God does render life eternal.

*Notice that ALL who receive eternal life are described as such, everyone who does good (vs. 10). Good deeds flow from a heart that is saved and evil deeds flow from a heart that is unsaved. Verse 8 - but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath.

*Notice that ALL who do not receive eternal life are described as such, everyone who does evil (vs. 9). What those passages convey is that though our deeds are judged by God, it's not the good deeds themselves which are the basis or means by which we receive eternal life, but the type of deeds expose our hearts. These good deeds done out of faith are the fruit, but not the root of salvation.

*Notice how love for other Christians is an indication of one's salvation status: 1 John 3:10 - In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. He who practices righteousness and loves his brother does so BECAUSE he is "of God" not to become of God. 1 John 3:14 - We know that we have (past tense) passed from death to life, because we love our brothers (present tense). Loving our brothers is the result of, not the condition of passing from death to life. 1 John 4:7 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

I don't think none of us will follow his word complety but obeying what he says we must do to be saved is the most important thing to do.

You are right to be saved we must obey HIS commandments completely.

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Those who don't.

Matthew 7:21-23
King James Version
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Following God's Word Of Truth completely?

So which should I follow completely? His earthly Words To the twelve and Israel, Under Law?
Or:

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15 AV) From “Things That Differ!” (online):

His Heavenly Words To one apostle Paul to the Body Of Christ, Under Grace?

I have decided to follow Jesus?

Amen.
Matthew 7:21 - Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

Notice how these many people in Matthew 7:22 said Lord, Lord didn't "WE." They were trusting in their works for salvation and not in Jesus Christ alone. 🚩

The correct answer for these many people would have been Lord, Lord, didn't "YOU" die for our sins, were buried and rise again the 3rd day to provide for us eternal life. We trust in YOU as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 1:16) ✝️

I can already hear folks in the Oneness camp on that day saying Lord, Lord didn't "WE" get water baptized "in Jesus name only," speak in tongues and do many wonderful works? 🚩

Matthew, 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

The word "WE" used here is ALL OF THEM prophesied in HIS name.

Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Meaning they were prophesying in HIS name and JESUS was still sending them to HELL.

In order for them to prophesying in HIS name they had to have the Holy Ghost!

Since the Holy Ghost is the only way to "in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works" Again one would think they have it!

In order for them to have the Holy Ghost they had to believe! WHICH JUST BELIEVING in HIM DOES NOT WORK.

More evidence in Acts 19, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?

Now back up to verse 21, they must not have done HIS will!

What is HIS will?

I see you put your twist on what they should have said, but the fact remains WHAT THEY DID SAY.

In conclusion, they believed, they must have been filled with the spirit WHAT WERE THEY MISSING?

Must have been important JESUS SENT THEM TO HELL!!!

Matthew, 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

The word "WE" used here is ALL OF THEM prophesied in HIS name.
In context here Jesus is discussing FALSE prophets. (Matthew 7:15-23) Hence, I never knew you which means they were never saved. Do you see it now?

Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
This culminated in a genuine conversion here in Acts 19, (unlike Matthew 7:22-23) and not everyone speaks in tongues and prophesies. (1 Corinthians 12:27-31).

Meaning they were prophesying in HIS name and JESUS was still sending them to HELL.
They were FALSE prophets who failed to do His will. (Matthew 7:21; John 6:40)

In order for them to prophesying in HIS name they had to have the Holy Ghost!
To genuinely prophesy, yes. But they were obviously FALSE prophets (Matthew 7:15-23) who Jesus never knew.

Since the Holy Ghost is the only way to "in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works" Again one would think they have it!
Yet Jesus did not confirm their claims and Jesus never knew them which means they never saved. (Matthew 7:23) Let that sink in.

In order for them to have the Holy Ghost they had to believe! WHICH JUST BELIEVING in HIM DOES NOT WORK.
They obviously failed to do God's will (Matthew 7:21) by refusing to look to the Son and believe in Him (John 6:40) which explains why they were FALSE prophets (Matthew 7:15) who did not have the Holy Spirit, hence Jesus never knew them and they were cast into hel. (Matthew 7:23) Are you seeing the big picture yet?

More evidence in Acts 19, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?
Paul asked that question, assuming they may have believed, yet their answer to Paul's question, followed by Paul needing to explain to them that they needed to believe in the one following John namely, Jesus and they were afterwards baptized, demonstrated, they were not yet believers and have not yet received the Holy Spirit. (Acts 19:2-5) Paul laid his hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues and prophesied, which is the exception and not the rule in every case of conversion.

Now back up to verse 21, they must not have done HIS will!
Obviously, they did not do his will in (Matthew 7:21-23) or else Jesus never would have said - I never knew you, depart for me you who practice lawlessness. Stop comparing FALSE prophets who are make believers with genuine believers who experienced genuine conversions.

What is HIS will?

I see you put your twist on what they should have said, but the fact remains WHAT THEY DID SAY.
That was no twist. John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

1 Corinthians 15:1 - Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. When will you believe?

To believe the gospel is to trust in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation. EITHER, WE ARE TRUSTING 100% IN JESUS CHRIST, AS THE ALL SUFFICIENT MEANS OF OUR SALVATION, OR ELSE WE ARE 100% LOST.

In conclusion, they believed, they must have been filled with the spirit WHAT WERE THEY MISSING?
You are thoroughly confused. What they were missing in Matthew 7:21 is clearly spelled out in John 6:40. THEY DID NOT BELIEVE. Jesus sends FALSE prophets and unbelievers in general to hell. Not believers who are filled with a Holy Spirit.

Must have been important JESUS SENT THEM TO HELL!!!

John 3:18 - He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who (is not water baptized in Jesus name only and speaks in tongues? - NO) does not believe is condemned already, because he has not (been water baptized in Jesus name only and spoke in tongues? - NO) because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I Cor is speaking in a church setting, when a person is filled with the Holy Ghost they will speak in tongues.
Peter said that in Acts 2:33 and JESUS said it in Mark 16:17

They were FALSE prophets who failed to do His will. (Matthew 7:21; John 6:40)

True what didn't they do?

To genuinely prophesy, yes. But they were obviously FALSE prophets (Matthew 7:15-23) who Jesus never knew.

According to you, they were believers did you notice what Paul said? SINCE YOU HAVE BELIEVED HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST.

They didn't say believe what???

Just because YOU say it's an exception and not the rule in every case of conversion DOES NOT MAKE IT TRUE, Peter and JESUS SAID IT WILL.

WHAT WERE THEY MISSING????

Just because YOU say it's an exception and not the rule in every case of conversion DOES NOT MAKE IT TRUE, Peter and JESUS SAID IT WILL.

WHAT WERE THEY MISSING????
These were NOT genuine believers in Matthew 7:22-23. These many people were trusting in their works for salvation and not in Jesus Christ alone. Faith in Jesus Christ (everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him - John 6:40) for salvation is what they were missing. (Matthew 7:21) Jesus never knew them which means they were never saved. Are you seeing the light yet?

In regard to Acts 19:2, their answer to Paul's question, “we have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit” demonstrated that they did not yet believe on Christ Jesus unto salvation. Paul further asked, "into what then were you baptized? They said, “into John’s baptism.” Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.” When they heard this, they were afterwards baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. There would have been no need to re-baptize them if they had already believed on Christ Jesus unto salvation. These disciples of John needed further instructions to become believers on Christ Jesus then afterwards, they received the Holy Spirit after Paul laid hands on them (which is the exception, not the rule in every case of conversion).

Now in regard to being filled with the Holy Spirit, not in every case will someone speak in tongues.

In Acts 4:8, we see that Peter here was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke with boldness to the rulers of the people and elders of Israel along with all who were assembled together there. (Acts 4:31) *Yet nothing is mentioned here about them speaking in tongues.

In Acts 7:55, after rebuking Israel, we see that Stephen was filled with the Holy Spirit and he gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” (vs. 56) Afterwards, Stephen was stoned to death. *Yet nothing is mentioned here about him speaking in tongues.

In Acts 9:17, we see that Ananias laid his hands on Brother Saul and announced to him that the Lord Jesus has sent him so that he may receive his sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit. *Yet nothing is mentioned here about Paul speaking in tongues after something like scales fell from his eyes and he received his sight.

In Acts 13:9-11, we see that Paul was filled with the Holy Spirit and rebuked Elymas the sorcerer and announced to him that the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. *Yet nothing is mentioned here about Paul speaking in tongues. So, speaking in tongues may be "an" evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit but it is not "the" evidence in every case.

It truly amazes me to see how everything that I explained to you in post #96 just went right over your head.

I don't think none of us will follow his word complety but obeying what he says we must do to be saved is the most important thing to do.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Yes no one of us could follow them completely.
It is impossible to fulfilled them all.

But there is a chance to obey them all according to our Lord Jesus.
MATTHEW 19:26
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

With the clear understanding of Man in Matthew 25:35-36 the Salvation is impossible.

But believing that God the Father is Speaking in Parables (Psalms 78:2 & Ezekiel 20:49)
With God's revelation on what he mean in Matthew 25:35-36 Salvation is possible.

This is what God the Father teaches us.
His understanding is different from our understanding. Because he is talking heavenly words and not earthly words.
ISAIAH 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God the Father is expecting us to beg and ask his Mercy to reveal the meaning of Matthew 25:35-36

Explaining why you are wrong would take more time than it’s worth, given that you will persist in your errors.
