This is bizzare. A Nude Church?

These is crazy what that guys says in the video about jesus and how he uses the word of god to define him self jesus said come has you are in the heart not in the nude yes you come has you are not come has you are then take off all your clothes

Ok. here I have to confess something. Years ago, years before my husband and I had children (our oldest is 18) we went to a Naturist Camp. I had a co worker who owned a space there for his RV. We went with him and his wife several times. It was actually quite nice, had a restaurant and bar with a dance floor, a huge pool, hot tub, picnic areas, beach area, you name it. You could live there year round, seasonally, weekends only or visit as you wanted. We liked it.

I wouldn't go now, this was long before I came to Christ, but we had some lovely weekends. The only thing "weird" about it was the lack of clothing, and you get used to that very quickly. The people were very nice. We met sales people, insurance agents, cops, secretaries, I was a receptionist, teachers, mechanics, etc. I even remember some Christians there talking about the Bible. Wish now I'd listened to what they'd had to say.

As I said I wouldn't go back now but I have nothing but nice memories of the place and the people.

And lets all be a little less judgmental. While it may not be something you would ever consider that doesn't make it weird. That doesn't make the people there weird or evil and God loves them. Let's be grateful that God's Word is being preached, His message is being spread and people are being saved.

Well, this is quite interesting and I just have one thing to confess.
Even though I am Christian, I can't tell you my eyes would not be
drawn to the 'endowments' God gave man. If I were attracted to
women, and were a man, I believe he would be unable to keep eyes
off a well endowed woman. Now put this picture together and what
do we have ? Men comparing their 'endowments' and 'women being
jealous of husband looking at one woman more endowed than herself.
So maybe this is where the testing comes in and God is teaching us
not to be 'jealous.' What a test, huh ? I am sure I speak for many.
After all even though God created " all of us equal" in Him, It is
obvious it was not meant for the human anatomy ~ I still think I
would be distracted if I was in a nudist church. Unless it is a
church full of big bellied guys, and older ladies who sag down toward
bellies. Ummm, let's keep our close on, I think God will be happier,
I know I would be.... No temptation... Help us Lord to know the
truth of Your will and how You would prefer us to show reverence.
I sure would appreciate it. Oh what a topic.. this could go on and on.

Totally have to disagree. God is more concerned with our hearts than our outward appearance. Does God really feel slighted if you don't spend extra money buying nicer clothes to wear once a week? Or do you really believe He looks more favorably on those who dress up? I go to church to fellowship and grow. I don't need fancy clothes to do that. To me this is just a show to put on to other people to make you look more impressive and spiritual, but lacks any real substance.
And how does the clothes a person wears to church have anything to do with their commitment to God? That sounds more works based than having any real depth.

You really think the reasons non-believers don't take Christians seriously has anything to do with the way they dress at church? Or could it be something deeper than that? I'm going with something deeper. I've yet to talk to a single non-believer who has ever thought less of Christians that didn't dress up for church.

One might question the heart of such a church that breaks the law just for ''freedom of religion''. Indecent exposure is illegal and has no part in the church.
 
Ummm. It just dawned on me.... Adam and Eve had to go cover
themselves up. Remember ? God asked, why are you covered?
Adam responded to God with his answer. God then asked ......
" Who told you, you are naked ? " Oops.... So, the story goes
on to tell us, they were cast out of the Garden of Eden. So,
again I think our answer is.... "KEEP OUR CLOTHES ON."
 
A nude church would...

lower air conditioning cost, possibly being offset by higher heating costs in the winter.
 
I just realized a potential snag here, aside from things getting caught in doors.


What if someone ate too much spicy food for dinner the night before? Without clothing to muffle the sound, that's going to be an awfully awkward church service.
 
danschance, that's just wrong in too many ways to eeeeew, can anybody say NASTAY!!! no but really some of the comments on here made me laugh so hard:D
 
They are not breaking the law and this is not indecent exposure. Nudism, as practiced by nudists, who share the common intention of being nude, and who do so away from the view of the general public, is legal in 49 of the 50 United States (the sole exception being Arkansas). If you don't like these church services, or any other nudist function, then don't go to one. These worshippers are not strutting down public streets in the nude, so how does it affect you? Please read my comment on #72 of this thread.

adam and eve covered themselves from God only after they felt the shame of their crime.

Ewww. First, of all if this is a full church isn't wrong to be nude in front of kids. Second, all What the hell is all this attack on god not clothing adam and eve and therefore it not being a shame to be nude. Thirdly, If god felt it was not a sin not to be clothed why would he have created people that can and will make clothes.
 
Hmmmm, I don't know how much more I can take. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. All I know is that I don't want to ever see that video again. I gotta go my stomach is starting to hurt. Where did I put that Pepto..........oh bye everybody.
 
All I can say, if I went to this church, I would not volunteer to cook the bacon for church socials.
 
No way ! I didn't watch the video ! The video cover is enough ! How could they do this ?

So, how do they do when it comes to hugs and the likes ? NO WAY !!!!!!!!
