That whole people of walmart thing is a sham! As an Aussie I was so determined to find a Walmart when I was in the US... JUST TO SEE if the people who shopped there actually looked like those videos. However, I was greatly disappointed!

Maybe I needed to go to one at 3am or something, I dunno? Either way, it seemed to me the people there, were just regular people dressed in normal attire.

I am still however completely bamboozled by the fact you can drop off a prescription, get your car serviced, buy a pet fish, do your groceries, and have your hair done all in one location.

You gotta remember that site is a compilation of pictures taken at thousands of Walmarts all over the US over a period of years. If you consistently shop in a Walmart you will, from time to time, see people dressed in a manner worthy of being posted on that site.

Really? I'll take your word for it. It wasn't all that bad, I did get a really cute pair of shoes for $7 haha!
 
Having worked the third shift for 10 years, I have been at walmart at 2 am many times.

There are a lot of weird people there then, but that's not because its walmart.... its because its...

2 am, on a weekend.

What's really bamboozling is that you can do all those things at a single location run by the richest family in America, and then watch their employees line up for food stamps and welfare because they don't get paid squat for doing all those things.

And at the Porter Ranch Walmart, it doesn't have to be 2 am to see the wierdos. Which is interesting because it's not in a bad nieghborhood.
