Seatbelt is right. I am not 9 feet tall or even close to it. I am 5'9", the tallest female on both sides of my family. My mother is 5'2", and I've often said to her that the only reason she had me was so I could get things down off the third shelf in the cupboards. I've asked if I was adopted, but I'm not. I am, however, a walking recessive gene. Other than my hair color (which is dark like my dad's.) I'm the only female in my family to have green eyes. Real green eyes, not hazel, kelly green. I'm taller than everyone, I'm whiter than everyone, (except for my cousin Shannon, the Irish just busted out of that girl), my face is rounder, my hair is half way curly, my fingers are long, I'm musical, my coloring is different, and I'm the only one who is allergic to red berries. I feel like the odd one out in the looks department in my family and in society. As I've stated before, I no longer see myself as unattractive, but I won't ever look the way I'm "supposed" to.
I've been told I'm too tall or too smart or too ugly or too pretty... I've always been "too something". You'd think after 32 years I'd be used to it. But my current tears contradict me.
