Please please please be careful shoveling this wet and heavy snow. Today I learned the true meaning of this "heart attack snow". A neighbor of mine was just taken to the hospital with chest pains while shoveling today. Look out for those who are vulnerable like the elderly and sick in situations like this. Please stay warm and pray for those who are not like the homeless, people impacted by power outages or those who simply do not have the money to heat their homes. And lastly, have fun! Here in Philadelphia we got about 6inches of snow and 2 inches of ice on top. How much did you get?

In Clearwater Florida we got a trace of precipitation. A little on the cool side in the low 60's. It's been brutal this winter. I appreciate your concern for others.

still snowing so i don't know what the total will be, but there's definitely over 2 feet out there.

husband and son shoveled almost 4 hours and it's not done yet.

we still have power, thanks be to God, Who has mercy. :)

I'm really kind of annoyed that those of you in the North East are stealing all of my snow. Colorado is in for a bad fire season this summer if we don't get some precipitation coming.

Please, please take ours. We're done with it. It's slightly used but still good and cold lol

We were lucky enough that the worst of it was over by noon. How is your neighbor? Any news?

They named the storm?

I did the sidewalk the easy way -- waited for someone to knock on my door and asked, "How much?"

Wasn't much of a storm here, but I'm in Philly -- 3 inches hotter than outside the city. Mostly icy rain and sleet.

Here's a picture of what happened to our forsythia.

Any word on the neighbor?
