Normal me isn't too bad.

Task stressed me (when something needs to be done quickly) is kind of a slave driver who dispenses with human emotion and social niceties in a single minded focus on completing the task.

Foot down me comes out when someone crosses a line rhat shouldn't be crossed. You will do what I say and put the boundary back or I will remove your capability to be on my side of that boundary. I can only remember one time this mode came out. Fortunately that person backed down so their digital camera didn't go out the train window.

If I twirled around until a thunder flash revealed my alter ego,

These days it's epidemic
They're like Pokemon or ben10
They teach you to work with them & harness them
But they end up taking over the person
Even people like Jordan Peterson are pushing this
"How to work with your shadow self" and other such titled videos
This is also embedded into movies
Like the Grindelwald Harry Potter spinoffs
The Bible will tell you how Sarai becomes Sarah

And this is why Scripture types people as animals..
God bless you out there

…3 For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh.
4 The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
5 We tear down arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.…

Its a good game and yes they have several servers. I have a cook, carpeter, woodworker and jeweler.

Oooooh, are we getting into spirit animals now? Goody!

My spirit animal is Eeyore.

"It could be worse. I'm not sure how. But it could be."

My Mystic has a spirit animal. Its a wolf.

During my life, when I've seen someone being threatened by another or by some dangerous thing, I immediately ask God for help and insert myself into the situation to try and help. I'm spring loaded that way. Now that I'm old and very weak I wonder if that reflex is still in me. I don't know because I haven't found myself in that type of situation in quite a long time now.

When my kids were growing up I had the furniture in our great room configured so that you could walk/run around it all. All I had to do was look at any of my four children with a certain look in my eye and they'd immediately take cover by putting some furniture between themselves and me. The chase would begin and after I caught them a tickle fight would ensue. If I only had one, the other three would come running and jump in and attack me. I don't really have a name for that alter ego... maybe Crazy Dad.

The "Crazy Dad" story was the best I'd heard in a while, especially when there are so many people suffering from not having good, or any, relationships with their fathers.

Simple things like just having fun makes such a huge difference!

Thank you so much for sharing this!

It was very inspiring. :) And it's awesome to hear about people being willing and asking God how to help on behalf of others. 🙏

When I am in a dead rush hurry, I become very focused and very hyper observant. I'm sure it is murder on my blood pressure, and it takes a lot of energy and cannot be sustained for more than about 2 hours without serious detriment.

It gets the job done, but I don't like it.

Also people become obstacles. I don't really see them as people anymore. Obstacles that cannot, under any circumstances, be plowed through, but obstacles anyway.

As an outside observer, I must note that Lynx also has a mode that appears in the exact opposite way -- his "Meetup Mode." In "Meetup Mode", he becomes very focused and hyper observant about how people will get where they need to go, what he can do to provide the things they need, and how he can help keep people fed.

The obstacles in this case, are anything that gets in the way of him trying to make things more convenient for people.

He won't care if you're a few hours or even states away -- he will drive however long it takes to pick you up and take you back if needed. He doesn't care if you need a ride from the airport two hours away in a huge city with crazy traffic, and it's the middle of rush hour -- he will be there to pick you up, and take you back, if needed.

He'll show up with a mini-van full of everything from backup laptops to toilet paper and plastic cutlery if he thinks someone can use them. And he'll be up at 5 in the morning cooking French toast, even if it means (accidentally, so it was said) swiping the ONE special loaf of low-carb bread -- from among 6 other regular loaves just sitting there on the counter -- to make sure people have a proper breakfast. He'll cook a boatload of chocolate gravy in the afternoon to make sure everyone's sweet tooth(s) won't revolt.

I've heard some people say, "Oh, well you're a girl, so of course he would try to impress the ladies." Nope. I've seen him in all kinds of situations, with all kinds of different people of both genders and all ages, and if you are a friend, that's all that counts. He will do anything in his power to help and he won't accept a dime for it, even when you try to shove money at him (ask me how I know.)

In fact, if you make the mistake of going to use the restroom to wash your hands, you might come back and find he's paid for your lunch.

It's funny when I think about it, because he has often accused me on being so focused on trying to take care of other people, that I can't relax and just enjoy being with a group.

But he does the exact same thing, in his own way -- it's just that he's a lot better at it  -- and doesn't get lost in the hustle.

Le sigh. I have a lot to learn. :geek:

It's what I do!

I don't have the moniker "OutWrite Trouble" just for show, ya know!

I've earned every letter of it. :geek:

This reminds me of a friend of mine. I was visiting her once and she brought out a stick. She said her friend gave it to her because she liked to stir up trouble. But she is sweet as she can be and a Godly woman so I think it meant she liked to get people going, I can't imagine her being a trouble maker. I'm pretty sure, without meeting you, that you are the same. <3

I'm getting to an age where my "stirring up trouble" stick is probably starting to resemble more of a cane, but I appreciate your kind assessment.

*Seoulsearch encourages @enril to go on a roadtrip/to a meetup with @Lynx -- and try to give him money to help pay for things.*

Most likely, he will probably bare his claws than accept money.

That's the good ol' south that libs are trying to get rid of. My husband would give his last dime. If you're traveling in the south and you break down, you'll have 5 good ol' boys on site in minutes to haul you out or fix you up.

My Princess Mode also makes me prone to thinking, "I know what the good CC people need!!! They need a new series of Seoulsearch Threads (said no one, ever! Lol!!)"

But you know how it is...

The delusions are strong with this one.

Your threads are the most fun and most interesting. Do not stop them, we need a ray of sunshine here.

I love the culture of the Southern United States (not to mention the accents!) and I hope it's something God will forever preserve.

I was visiting Lynx one year when a major storm passed through. It was awe-inspiring, and also a bit fearful, that in just a few hours, people everywhere were coming out in trucks -- and everyone, from the boys to the mama's and probably the grandmama's, all had chainsaws in hand, revved and ready to go.

Ain't no forest o'knocked out trees gonna stop them country folk from gettin' where they need to go!!

I love the feeling of community in the South -- but I also feel the need to be on my very best behavior (which is hard for me!) just in case.

I wouldn't want to risk offending anyone's mee maw, in any situation!!! :oops:o_O:LOL:

Thank you so much for your kind, encouraging words, Sister Rose!

You just made my day! 💓

I love making people laugh, smile, and/or think, and that's always the goal of my threads. :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to participate in them! :D

Oh... seoul does like to stir up trouble, no doubt about that. Just ask anybody who has tangled with her in a debate. :D
